The best Ecuadorian Churrasco

My delicious Guatita recipe: • Guatita Ecuatoriana
INGREDIENTS:
3 thin steaks
½ red onion
½ tomato
¼ green bell pepper
½ handful cilantro
1 spoon garlic paste
½ teaspoon cumin
Salt to taste
1 pinch pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon mustard
1 spoon olive oil
A dash of vegetable oil
½ cup of water
Sides:
French fries
Rice
Sweet plantain
Fried egg
RECIPE:
Season the steaks with garlic paste, cumin, pepper, paprika, mustard and salt. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Finely slice the onion, green pepper, and tomato. Chop some cilantro. Set it aside.
Cut the potatoes to make French fries, cover them with water until we fry them.
In a pan add a little oil and let it heat up, add the steaks, and let them cook for around 3 minutes. Flip the steaks let it sear, add the vegetables and mix well. Add the water and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
Fry the potatoes and the sweet plantains until golden brown.
In a hot pan fry an egg.
All of this is served in the Churrasco.
To plate we serve some rice, the steak with the vegetables and some of the juice on top, on one side the fries with the sweet plantains, on top of the rice the fried egg.
