@allenmajors4806 Agreed. Ads are nothing else but _appeals to emotions_ (a defined term). To stir up desires in weak minds so they buy things most don't even really need. In most cases, a "want" is satisfied, not a "need".
I buy things that brings me comfort regardless of its price, I just make sure that by the time it loses its value it already serve a purpose in my life.
I like the concept of being mindful of the item depreciating in your mind before buying it.
