I am here just to see your gestures - thanks Claus.
Thanks! Minor error in the tab (twice): B (low-E 7th fret) should be C (low-E 8th fret).
Just had an “aha!” moment. Thank you so much ! 🎸🤘🏾
Favorite lesson so far. Kind of forces new phrasing roots and destinations. As well as breaking new mobility ground. Thanks dude!
Frank Gambale showed me another way to do this.. it's boxxier and it's faster.. start 3rd fret string 6 (G:b7) (first finger) then 5th fret str 6 (A;Root), then (C:b3) on str 5, then (D):4th) .. slide to (E:5th) 7th fret string 5 ; (the Next octave (A) is on the 4th string also at the 7th fret, then repeat the pattern up the neck.. (this is hard to describe in words.. lol).. but it's very fast.. faster than mimicking the standard pentatonic shape.. just a thought.. the nice part is when you slide from the (D) on the 5th fret.. you can slide up Eb.. E.. I find this faster to transition to the next octave.. of course.. use both inter mixed; it works.. (had to get this idea on the record). Here's the sequence.. A-G-A-C-D-Eb-E (look it's a six note sequence).. just repeat..6 the note sequences are fast, and they are two string sequences..
Hmmm.not quite getting it. Is there a tab or a Gamble video? Just getting started...thanks.
Arpeggio Blues Hmmm..not quite getting it. Is there a tab or a Gambale videoJust getting started. Thanks.
Do you have a link?
Sooper Claus!!! 🎸🎸😊🙏 I am going to try this !!
Familiarity is absolutely essential. Akin to recognising and old face, it's rememorable, familiar and easy to distinguish from all other faces (scales)
Listen intently and acquaint yourself with the sounds, what they look like and how that relate to said music. Make this your discipline and it will be as familiar as an old friend.
Thank you! 🙏🏻🎼
Gonna take the challenge. Cool stuff claus 😎🤘
Amazing to give away this much information glad to see the world there are people who help others. (Whether it be guitar, violin, or marriage counseling lol). You found your niche. Awesome claus!
I think this may get me out of the rut I'm in! Thanks!👍😎🎸🎶
1 week to late, but thanks Sir...
I am learning with aeolian as my core scale. So would you recommend essentially the same exercise, just filling in the extra notes?
This is Amazing!!
Thanks a lot for very usefull lesson and let me ask you something
How could we apply this in key of Dm and Em with no free string in 21 frets guitar ?
I thing we will got new shapes upon starting notes on E string and that is big issue to me for transpose this shape to any key
Sorry, I was off the planet for a while...
I mean a few days to late....
Muito legal as dicas.
