Another great video from Brian...the store looks awesome! Love the point about failure; my husband always taught our kids this old adage: "The master is a master because he has failed more times than the novice has even tried." Every failure is a lesson on how to do something better next time. The old door-to-door Kerby vacuum cleaner salesmen (in the 1960s this could be a lucrative job) used the law of probability to keep on going after may doors were slammed in their faces. Statistics showed they sold one vacuum for every 10 demonstrations. so they kept a positive mindset because they knew that with every "No thanks" they were one encounter closer to a "Yes sir!" with a paycheck. Keep failing, keep moving toward your goals, and you'll eventually succeed beyond your wildest dreams :-)
Living in Phoenix for 12 years taught me to never make assumptions about people's wealth based on their appearance. I once thought a multi-millionaire ranch owner was homeless with the way he looked 😅oops! Great video and topic!
Thanks Elizabeth, I appreciate the compliment. I'm a t-shirt, blue jean and baseball cap kinda guy... people almost always underestimate me (not that I'm anything special) when I walk into a business meeting for the first time. I've never been too concerned with dressing to impress others, I should probably care more than I do.
new sub as of today binge watching a bit from your channel thank you for having a play list that helps with watch time numbers for you. yep I'm also another fan of Graham Stephen. so I smashed that like button
Hi! Great vids, found your channel today. I thought you were in a Whole Foods (my fav store!), but nope, thats your own store, Awesome! Id much rather frequent a local business, but Im in Nevada. With 5 streams of income, Im sure this would be hard to make time for, but do you do coaching calls? People do it on RUclips and charge for it.
Thanks Erik! I’ve had a lot of people asking about coaching calls or a coarse… I’m actually in the process of moving my grocery store to a new location so I don’t have much free time right now. With all of the requests I’ve been thinking about it but I’m a little hesitant. I don’t want to charge people for something unless I’m sure they’re getting their moneys worth. I plan to do a little homework on the topic soon and if I think I can offer something worth paying for I may do it. My biggest pet peeve is all the financial “guru’s” selling crap information…I need to be sure I don’t become one of them.
Thank you so much for watching! The only way to solve a problem is to ask yourself "how can this be done?"... and solving problems for large groups of people is how you make real money.
Bryan, ty for your time. I still work but my wife has retired (due to now being disabled.). She cant stand, walk, ride or sit for long periods of time (sitting, standing or walking for more than 45 min at a time. After a couple of hrs of this she has to take her meds and lay down; driving no more 1 1/2 hrs before she has to take her meds and lay down). She has applied for disability which is pending. Shes so frustrated because she cant punch a time clock to help bring mo ey into the home. Do you have ANY ideas for something she can do and feel better qbout contributing. I tell her we'll be fine but this is what is in her head. Any help to make her feel like a contributer, anything at all would be greatly appreciated. Oh, we have 20 acres ...if that info is helpful.
That’s tough, I completely understand her desire to contribute… Years ago I remember a conversation with my wife’s grandmother, she was in an assisted living home and we would go shopping for her and buy her whatever she wanted or needed whenever we would visit and it always made her feel awkward to accept the help from us. My wife hugged her and said “You provided for and did everything you could for us for as long as you could, now it’s our time to take care of you”. I know that isn’t exactly your situation but maybe start with (and I’m sure you have) by reminding her that you signed up for good times and tough times. While she may not be comfortable with you being to sole provider, that’s what you signed up for when you got married. BUT…to your actual question. Something online might be a fit for her. Could source wholesale products from somewhere or hand make things and resell them on Etsy, Amazon or EBay. A RUclips channel is a great income but requires a lot of time and dedication to get it off the ground. I don’t know where you are or what the climate or market is like but maybe you could look at leasing some of your land to a company that grows grass sod. Or maybe a place for a nursery to grow there trees or plants. I hope something here helps. Best of luck to you and thank you for commenting. -Brian
My husband and I talk all the time about how money is not the root of all evil, and if you have money you can enact greater change than if you don’t. Also 100% agree that you cannot build wealth simply by saving, you have to invest.
Thanks for watching!

You speak the truth.
