Grew up in Odisha and this box captured the beauty and essence of the culture so well 👏🏼 and chenapudo is my fav dessert ! ❤ we moved to a different state later and I have not had time to go back to visit - watching this video made my day ❤❤
Sarah, you got some of the best gift from odisha. That churidaar set is pure handwoven cotton, the basket, i guess made from sabai grass, it's sustainable and best to store any products. The silver filgree is originated from silver city cuttack holds a very special place in artwork and the pattachitra is one of the finrst form of sustainable art and very posh too. And the "Khaja" of puri is a blessing of Lord Jagannath. You truly got some of the finest gift from Shalini that represent Odisha. Love this.🌼

There are so many similarities in Bangladesh & Odisha's foods- (mixed chura= we call it chanachur, ber ki achar= boroi achar, khojo = goja, kalajamun = kalo jaam, pitha= teler pitha) & language... Loved it💖💖💖

As an odia , I can say that shalini has gone all out in depicting the rich cultural heritage that Odisha has and what to tell about the food- Achar, Chhenapoda, Chhenagaja, Arisha pitha, Ambula (my mouth is watering while writing all of these). But Shalini pronounced two things wrong as its KHAJA/खजा AND CHHENAGAJA/छेनागजा. But you missed one of the most important dishes called as "DAHIBARA" for which you've to come and eat it here. I hope you love eating pitha bcoz it's one of my most favorite comfort foods and ambula is something else! I hope through this video, people know more and more about Odisha as it hasn't yet got the recognition that it needs to get. Love you both!

Actually in Odia also its called khajaa, maybe she did the Assamese pronunciation. This is my the most favourite snack item in all of Odisha’s native ones.

Khaja is a sweet, a wheat flour preparation fried in ghee. Khaja is believed to have originated from the eastern parts of the former state of Magadh and the former United Provinces and Magadh. Silao , Nalanda districts of Bihar. Being a bihari I love khaja. ❤🤤

I relate with all the things coz I'm odia and all things are very close to my heart and amlo was dried mango u can use in your dal in your sabzi and u can eat direct as well put it in a bowl with some water to soften it and with mirchi make it like h amlo chotka and eat with pakhala u will love it🤗🤗🤗

Hi sarah di i am hitpal , its your teen sarah squad since i was 12. we all know you're obsessed with sunscreen and i tried a sunscreen 6 months ago and i've used it around 15 tubes of it and i am 100% sure you're gonna love it for sure. Its the moody 7d hydro burst water sun fluid sunscreen . the texture of it is heaven and it blends in the skin under 15 sec . the aqualogica and dr sheths sunscreens a nothing in comparison of it. but it didn't get as much appreciation because moody doesn't pay influencres to try products and other influencers don't try it as well. i swear i tried most hyped isntree sunscreen and its exactly the same product in diff. packaging . its soooo moisturizing that you don't need moisturizer before it . i really wanted you to try this as you are the only influencer whom i trust.

Sambalpuri cotton dress are made up of pure cotton so heavy amount of color will fed up while washing but glaze will not go away. So please try to wash both separately
