I just found your channel and am in love! I’m an RN now, but many years ago, I was not & my husband had lost his job; so I started flipping different items and selling them, and girl you may not believe this, but we actually paid our bills out of it for several months. I miss flipping items and am highly considering doing it again. I adore bringing pieces back to life ♥️
Thanks for watching! I totally believe it. I have been at my regular job for 25 years and I am almost making as much with my crafting job as I do there.

Just an idea...but when you respray the inlay to remove it perhaps wait a minute or two before removing. Maybe that is why your inlay sometimes doesn't transfer....love your work!

Any water based wax will reactivate the paint a bit and possibly wipe a bit off. But I always think it leaves a really pretty distressed look that came naturally, so it only adds to the look for me. But if you want to prevent it, just add a bit of sealer to your projects first, then wax. I know this occurs a good bit with Waverly waxes. Idk so much about DIY wax.

I found sticking mold in freezer helps with delicate items, not my idea, saw on another RUclips channel
I need to try that. Do you put them in the freezer after turning them out or before?
That's what I do...it works...💞
@@susieonthefarm put them in the freezer before you remove them from the moulds...that's what I do and it works for me...happy crafting...
I love all your projects- they are all beautiful! DIY paint & wax are the only thing I use. I have tried many brands of paint over the years & DIY is by far the best. Your tables with the inlay’s looked wonderful. I’ve been nervous to try them myself but I did just get the new release inlay & am planning on using it soon. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful thrift flips!
It gets much easier with practice! The best advice I can give is be sure you use a liberal amount of paint evenly. Good luck and thanks so much!
A little hint about the tiny dots replacement. Glue split peas to the space and paint over. No one will know.
Love what you do, always. The mirror is so pretty, love the green! I tried to put an IOD transfer on glass, it wouldn't transfer. My mistake? Thank you ❤

It only takes 2 or 3 drops of the white paint.

What did you use to finally ues to get that old glue on.
lots of elbow grease! Then by the time I got the moulds and paint on you couldn't see it.
So how do you buy stuff if you're in another state out of your booth like that long mirror that you made
