Fun fact: Mihoyo actually changed the first 2 chapters of HI3 almost a year ago. Originally kiana jumped from a spacecraft and zoomed through the skies and landed on the ship.

I joined recently and i still got that during my initial download, just not for the actual gameplay
Old chapters was so much shorter as well lol
I kinda miss that one, the thumbnail for that opening is still the one used for the new one in the CG.
I remember the first few stages started on the side of Hyperion on sunset and it wasn't flying through a city. I like the changes though, especially that 2D combat portion.
There's just something about Sakura (long, pink-haired katana wielder) that catches the eye. I've noticed that a lot of older(and even newer players) always almost recall her when asked about what their favorite character designs when they first entered the game. As a community lurker and a Yae Sakura stan, I am honestly invested in her character design and concept overall.
Definitely think her design looks so awesome!! Elegant but dealt, yet still charming

I saw ads for Honkai and when there was Sakura doing her kiai ultimates I was like, oh I want this. Sakura is the reason I installed Honkai and forever will be my favorite.
Even the Evil Fu Hua in the animation "Shattered Samsara" is actually playable maybr she will be release this month :D
I am SO HYPED for HoS!! She looked so awesome in her PV
Next month, 4.6 should released March around 4th or 6th
Remember that HoS is a "support" character. She basically supports the team by killing everything.

It really a slow start on their first release.
They have many same characters with different battlesuits, different playstyle and different history.
And trust me if you play it constantly you can master their combo within 2 weeks

a helpful advice:
each valkyrie has its own battlesuits, which gives different attributes such as buffs and enemy debuffs, and keep an eye for a battlesuit type for it has strenghts and weaknesses. (Quantum type has only strength but weakness is not yet indentifed) lastly, try some other modes like material event, open world, and many others.

Quantum types counter their own type. Its like you do more damage at the expense of taking more damage on a Quantum vs Quantum fight.

you can unlock battlesuits by collecting battlesuit fragments. to get fragments, you either complete the story stage or event stage or buy it at the store. you can also ise these fragments to upgrade their ranks. higher ranks = powerful battlesuit

Safe ur Crystals bro. We'll be having Herrscher Of Sentience next month who's most likely a S̶u̶p̶p̶o̶r̶t̶ and DPS Valkyrie. Maybe farm about 28000 crystals(?) Not sure tho since beginner luck Exist (But not for me) and you'll get tons of crystal as new player
True. My smurf acc (10 days old lvl35) got all 3 of children set and staff of longinus. Together with SS Asuka. For only 4 10x pulls in her equipment banner..
I heard they give a lot in Honkai imp 4 but not so hopeful lol😂
I pulled HoV soon after I started playing so there may be some truth to the beginner rng bias.

As I said before, I started playing for the jiggle physics, stayed for the awesome story and gameplay. Now, while many are right in telling you to stay AWAY from Dorm Supply...god kiana IS there as a banner character...But I'm glad that you're enjoying Honkai Impact so much. Have you tried the crossover event yet?
honkai is like a roller coaster, except youre superglued onto ur seat, and the roller coaster won’t stop and everyone else on the roller coaster is depressed and so are you. anyways can’t wait to join you on this journey! 😃✨

I would advise you, though, to save your crystals and supply cards for 4.6, not just for HoS but also cuz there's a spending event where 30k worth of pulls will get you an outfit for HoT (ohhh yeahhh) and enough of a special currency to get Vermillion Knight Himeko as well (the one you tried on stream).
When I first started playing Honkai, Kiana is the reason I continue playing.

I've been playing Genshin for a few month now and have been really enjoying it. I think 2-3 years ago I once installed HI3 and ended up deleting it the same day, probably because I was too lazy to get into it.. now I came across Rubia on RUclips a few days ago. I'm still mesmerized by this song and just from the visuals in it I got intrigued. Especially the connection between Genshin and Honkai (like the unknown goddess being identical to HoV) is really interesting.
I started my HI3 account yesterday. This will be so fun to watch alongside as I progress in the story! And I'm totally in love with Kiana. If they ever bring a Kiana version to Genshin, that is the day I'll whale.

I started playing this when they released Azure Waters video. I fell in love with Seele's design and her relationship with Bronya.
Seeing you playing this reminded me the first time I played it, and how I got hooked with the game style, and I can say that if I was hooked instantly even when being scepctic about the game, you, my fella, will surely be even more hooked than I am.

MiHoYo makes damn good games
If you like studying combos, I reccomend Fu Hua's Valkyrie Accipiter battlesuit. It's pretty weak, but has loads of combos that are really fun to mess around woth if you have the time and effort.
(So is fallen rosemary, but you have to buy her and it might take a while)
