I feel very lucky to have finally found this beautiful gem of hymns. I had only the lyrics in my mind and had forgotten the title of it. I really like the simplicity and beauty of this hymn and felt blessed to hear it this morning. Thanks for sharing.
Like how nostalgic and comforting is this. On god like I didn’t choose my religion I was born into it and o don’t regret a minute of it (catholism) singing this from 5 years old puts the spirit in me now (32) more than I could ever understand back then xxx❤❤
We used to this sing this hymn at our School Assemblies. I went to a Church of England Primary School, Alumwell Junior School, Walsall, United Kingdom 🇬🇧✨✝️
Me too!! I haven't heard this since primary school in the 80s and very early 90s. I was immediately transported back there and to the wooden floors!! Amazing, all these years since I last heard it and it's just all come flooding back
It’s only now as an adult that I get the scriptural reference to seeds of his spirit and fruit growing is about fruits of the spirit... I’ve been a Christian since o was 14 but I last sang this song at school when I was 11...
Had this in my head today, and was like where have I learnt this. I remember the infant school I went to was a Church of England school and it was compulsory to sing hymns. So I have a good memory from 19 years ago 😂
This reminds me of primary, sometimes we staggered the line so p1-4 sang on time and 5-7 were 1 line behind. It was fun but probably sounded awful compared to when we sang it normally. Im not a Christian but I admire a lot of the lessons which can be learned from Christianity
Hi thanks for uploading this and I can see some vicars that I know from different churches singing to that song on their own as this song is really good
Colours of day, into the mind the sun has come up the street behind go in the city, into the street and let's give the message to the people we meet. So light the fire and the flame 🔥 and let jeues return

I haven’t heard this since I sang it in primary school some 40 odd years ago and I’m singing along without needing to look at the lyrics! ❤️

In agreement! Lets Go as Commanded by The Master, in Mathew 28:19-20 .
the part that says "let jesus return" sounds like a part from the puyo puyo victory theme

I think the singer is Sir Cliff Richard.
Amen, sadly they do not allow this to be sing in primary schools anymore because "might" offend those who not Christian.
