I agree with you all on Naranjo and reddit. Many users on the Enneagram subreddit swear Naranjo is the end and be all. They treat him as if he's some sort of god, but interpret his concepts in the most literal way without little to no nuance. I think this began from PDB and trickled over to the enneagram subreddit. I was apprehensive towards this podast and group initially, but you all are straightforward and provide way depth than any other Enneagram space I've been in. Thank you for your contribution!

Just a flyby comment here that I hope is helpful: While I think the work you all did earlier on with types 4 and 5 was useful, in particular distinguishing them from 6 and 9, I wonder if you may be alienating a number of true 4s and 5s who would be willing to engage more with your deep theoretical practice if not for the sense that you would dismiss our self-typing because these numbers are supposedly “overtyped.” If anything, 4 and 5 seem to be slightly undertyped at this point. Just speaking for myself as someone who enjoys and regularly watches your content but does not really feel it is worth the investment of time or resources to go deeper when your group seems to automatically reject anyone who self-types as 5 and especially 4. I appreciate the effort to give objectivity to this field but at times it comes off as though you are dismissing the possibility of self-originated introspection.
