My grandfather was on board HMS Berwick when it fought the Hipper. He joined the navy as a fifteen-year-old in 1936, it was either that or work down the coal mines. In 1942 he was transferred to HMS Quality and served the remainder of the war in the Indian Ocean and the Pacific before coming home in 1947 to marry my grandmother. He saw action against the Germans, Italians, and the Japanese. He was close to one of the men who died in the battle against the Admiral Hipper, one of the hits destroyed most of the toilets, or heads, onboard the Berwick, and one of the men who died was castrated by splinters from an 8" shell. The County class heavy cruisers were some of the best-looking ships of the war and my granddad always remembered her fondly.
I play and enjoy this game................it has its flaws of course, such as useage of "Americanisms" (No RN ship would travel at "Flank Speed".........it would travel at Slow, Half, or Full Ahead.), Sonar was known as Asdic for most of WW2. No considerations for rapidity of fire..........for example a CL would get off 3 to 4 salvos in the time a Battleship got of one. However, restrictio ns apart, you can take it from me that is a reasonable portrayal of surface gunnery. I served as a "Baby Sailor" for nearly 2 years in 1950's onboard a WW2 vintage Cruiser and was Gunnery Fire Control, so have a better than fair knowledge of gunfire predictor problems. The game is not perfect.............but it is good.
Turn off the @#$%% music!!! - I can't hear the voice through it (and it's awful anyway) Who programmed Hipper to stay bow on and reduce her to 4 guns? At that range she would have turned to bring full broadsides into play as did the Berwick.

Both ships are both heavily damaged. Slugging it out. I don't think that it's going to be a win - either side.
Solid fight
I can hear your voice, but can't make out most of the words over the very staticky game sfx.
