Germans and British cars maintain pannamudiyama cars ah sale pannavanga jasthi compared to japanese like toyota. Its known for its reliability. I own a 2018 Fortuner 4x4 and it has clocked 2L kms in the ODO. And still no major issues. The costliest service i have ever made is just a clutch plate replacement 🙌🏻

Honestly fortuner is overrated only in India the Endeavour called Everest in rest of the world, The Mitsubishi Pajero sport or even the Izuzu MU X rule this segment across the globe the Fortuner usually ends up in last place in any comparison. India is only where people is obsessed with it even with way less and dated features. Thus, It's overpriced!

Its due to india’s vehicle norms, the car has high Ground clearance with more than 4Meter length. So indian Motor vehicles dept. would tax then higher 🤷🏻‍♂️

If people in india buying high ground clearance vehicle means there are lots of poor worst roads and un engineered speed breakers are there..
And why should we depend on the vehicle size ? Tax means percentage on a price only that too should be reasonable. 51 % tax cess and all injustice.
People have to pay EMI interest for that amount too....
For one product how much should people loose and work hard??

Obviously, Japanese engines are so good 👍, no complains there. But giving too much of credits to Fortuner & considering it as cheap LandCruiser is not acceptable 😖.
Because a LandCruiser is a properly built SUV, where as Forturner is based on the Hilux pickup truck platform. So basically Fortuner is a "Shorter Wheelbase version of Hilux, with triple Cab body & coilovers instead of rear leaf spring suspension". No offense, but I have personally felt the terible ride quality of Fortuner 👎& that engine drinks fuel like a Madly Thirsty Elephant.
But its too late, as that vehicle has been over hyped in India for years now & our people have accepted & got used to what that vehicle has to offer (Terrible Ride Quality, Poor Handling, Obnoxious Body Roll & Poor/useless 3rd row seates) for the expensive price tag.
Still the Fortuner is one Hell of a looker & I safely prefer to look at it from a distance at someone else's expense 😃😁🤭

@@sandragarcia-gf5mt Hi bro... If you really need Toyota's so called hallucinatic reliability & safety you can go for Innova. At a cheaper price (when compared to Fortuner) it offers more comfortable ride quality, lesser body roll & decent mileage. Still there is no much of steering feedback or driving pleasure in Innova as well.
I said "hallucinatic reliability & safety" because, if given a proper care & timely service, any car can munch lakhs & lakhs of Kms. Tata was known for it's poor quality & non-reliable engines & still I can see lot of Sumos, Indicas & Indigos clocking lakhs of kms in their odo.
So simply hyping Toyota for reliability is also an unacceptable point in my books. 😂 😂
