The Disappointments Room - An Abandoned Dollhouse

I started this project in September 2020. It's taken lots of different paths. But I knew I wanted it to have a disappointments room.
In case you don't know, a disappointments room is a room where families would keep their child or adult that may have developmental delays or physical impairments hidden away from the world. Either because they were ashamed - or, more seldomly, because they wanted to protect them.
As you can see, this little girl escaped.

I love abandoned houses too. :) The disappointments room is the room with the blue door. A disappointments room is a room where families would keep their child or adult that may have developmental delays or physical impairments hidden away from the world.
