Anemo MC's E is a budget version of Venti's burst
The same goes to Geo MC's E and Zhongli's meatball
While Electro MC and Raiden serves the same purpose; as a universal battery. EMC's Q and Raiden's E also deals off field Electro DMG
I'm secretly hoping that down the line units will pop up that'll make a Yoimiya+Dendro team possible, maybe give some AOE presence with Burgeon procs
Hey I’m a Yoimiya main here. I’m thinking about a team comp that has Yoimiya/ Fischl (wearing new set artifact for EM)/ Xingqiu or Kokomi and a Dendro Character. Burning and overload reaction may will be trigger at the same time. Pretty fun, isn’t it?
Imagine a Dendro that marks a single target, then dealing dmg to them spreads a percentage of the dmg around to others with vines, making it multi-target...
I've thought this kinda character could be cool for a long time, let's say we use it on Ayaka already hitting two targets, you're multiplying only half your dps with this, so true single-target benefits a lot. Could still be a great addition to teams in between too, let's say you run Xiangling, Bennett and Xinqiu, that Xinqiu and vaped Xiangling single-target dmg is getting spread around if you do it right.

@@iamthesenate8825 I'm not sure about burgeon. But for aggravate, low EM works just as well as high EM, because aggravate also scales with dmg% and crit.
For the DMC-Thoma-Kokomi-Kazuha, place Kokomi’s Jellyfish after DMC’s burst
This way, it will transform to the AOE-type burst, and Thoma won’t be able to make it explode anymore

@@onyx6692 I think u can, and I assume you would use her the same way Kokomi does-- a hydro applicator with full EM set, in that case, I would suggest equipping her with Prototype Amber if u want a little bit of heal.
As someone that ditched the traveler early on for better units, they’re actually the most fun to play so far as a dendro unit. tighnari and collei feel very clunky to me (especially since i don’t prefer bow characters to begin with), but as a kokomi main the drendro traveler is so much fun to play as a support with the bloom reactions. I think dendro is exactly what genshin needed to refresh gameplay and im having fun trying to rearrange my team comps to use traveler more.
If I’m going to be honest you can just ignore the fact that collei is a bow character because her kit has next to nothing to do with a bow like practically 80% if bow characters nowadays
I agree, dendro traveler is super good now. I play aether along with fischl kokomi zhongli
all you do with tighnari is drop his e and fire a few charge shots. it doesn't even matter if you have aimed right because he hits his target anyway. he works best with an electro character like fischl, yae or raiden. he is like one of the easiest bow characters to use.

I've been using traveler as my sub dps from the start because I'm a Noelle main, but I'm happy to see that once I get Albedo I won't have to bench traveler and I can just move him to my reaction team instead. (also glad I won't have to pull for dendro characters because I don't like any of them lmao)
Dendro Traveller felt good enough for me to actually ignore Tighnari. Rather try and get Zhongli for the massive utility and save wishes for a nice weapon banner or the dendro archon. But this element seems fun.
Same reason actually. Originally, I was having a hard time on whether I should pull for Tighnari, then I realized DMC now exists, and HE IS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD.
Tighnari in try out didn't feel good at all to me, still took a risk to try and get some Collei Constellations
@@Delarius86 The try out for Tighanri is really bad. He gets 90% of his damage from reactions and its a terrible set of characters to get a feel for him.

I'm okay with Pyro and cryo not having good reactions with dendro because they already had busted reactions with hydro and cryo.
So Pyro and cryo remains as one team and now we get dendro and electro and another. Hydro is the flexible one which reacts with all the elements. Anemo and geo remains the same.
This is basically our long awaited electro buff since now characters like keqing are more usable.
Was kinda hoping for a unique geo reaction because crystalize is just kinda useless but oh well

Pyro not having good reactions to dendritic is quite stupid. burning should be overpowered
@@shaurya890 I believe its to balance pyro a bit more becuase vaporise and melt are really really good, it also helps to draw more attention to other reactions like the electro one

Honestly I’m glad pyro doesn’t have another strong reaction it had vaporize the best damaging reaction in game and the most common.

@@aryhyun2106 either or , both are strong and resulted in a meta revolving around pyro based comps. After all not many people will play geo, freeze or taser comps. Hell I honestly think the only widely used physical team is Eula superconduct.

Dendro is looking like a really fun element, especially with all the reactions and sub reactions it brought
A problem I'm seeing is fitting a healer in these teams. Seems like Kokomi/Kuki work best with dendro, but one is limited and the other only had one banner. Bennett has to be used carefully not to mess up reactions which sucks if you just want to heal. Anemo healers don't react with dendro. Diona seems okay for fridge though.
Just use Jean+Barbruh for constant Hydro applications or Jean+Bennet for constant Pyro applications, later Dori will be released then again Jean+Dori for constant Electro applications
@@roberto6074 I never knew Jean+Barbara was a thing. Does Jean remove the wet status on self? I hate using barbara for that alone.
@@calyxatlas Barbara apply self Hydro every few seconds when you use E, XQ does that too but a few more seconds than barbara, Kokomi does it but only 1 time
Or you can wait for Candace, since she will infuse Hydro for Swords, Claymore and Polearms on her ult

Fichl getting lots of love, which is nice to see. I'm assuming everything Fichl can do, then Raiden can also do supremely well as well. Can't wait to build up my Traveler and Collei to start experimenting more Raiden Shotgun shenanigans.
No, Raiden actually doesn't work that well with Quicken.
Quicken mostly benefits characters that have a lot of electro application (nobody comes close to Fischl, her A4 passive is cracked with aggrevate), low multipliers, and don't mind having EM (Fischl's BiS was already the stringless which gives 165 EM).
Yae and Kuki also work pretty well with Quicken since they already scale decently well with EM for example and Kuki has very low multipliers which does not have any impact on aggrevate dmg.
man if you hit raiden burst on "aggravate" you're gonna see Big pipi numbers even with a not that op raiden
@@WastedTalent83 It won't make that big of a difference, the aggravate dmg without EM will be very small compared to Raiden's burst itself.
@@kyoroth8580 isn't it a multiplier? i didn't check very well by my Yae E damage double if not more, with aggravate, so i thought any hit that trigger aggravate got doubled. is it like Yunjin buff instead?
@@WastedTalent83 Yes, it is very much like a Yunjin buff, electro/dendro application on Quicken gives you an extra dmg instance that scales with DMG%, Crit and ofc EM and level.

Watching this video, I never realized how big the AOE is for MC's burst. Until the Dendro Archon gets released, MC looks to be really useful for me. And then after that, she's going back to Geo so I can use her with Zhongli.

idk if its just me or the new dendo chars are kinda strong, my collei in lvl 20 really contributes a lot to the team dmg and she also refuses to die, same as the tighnari player that i've met at co-op. or maybe the element just works very well with others. but i love it. i use collei in my exploration team immediately after i got her. many ppl use the traveler but tbh i don't really like traveler's playstyle LMAO so yeah.

you don't need a consistent pyro application for burning teams, you just need to apply pyro once and as long as you apply dendro continuously it will cause burning.
for me, kazuha bennet collei and mc are working just fine.
rotation would be something like bennet ult, kazuha ult, collei ult and mc ult, and rinse and repeat
Leveled up Lumine to 90 and seeing how good she is with dendro makes me so happy! Am having a lot of fun with her, Yae Miko, and Fischl since they kill everything so quickly that Yae's burst is actually easy to charge
burgeon and hyperbloom seem like a lot of fun.
I like seeing a whole lot of simultaneous damage numbers and VFX on the screen and these two do exactly that x)
Yeah... but Collei's passive allows you to apply AoE dendro after you swap and cause a reaction with a character for 3s at base value. Meaning her uptime for Dendro application is higher especially when off field and using the off-field artifact set.

I've been trying lots of combos with Dendro MC, so far settling on the best being as you mentioned: Electro-Dendro.
Since I'm paranoid I like to always run a healer with my comps, so far finding the best results with the current team:
1) Raiden Shogun - Main DPS
2) Mona - Enabler/Burst
3) Kokomi - Enabler/Healer
4) Dendro MC - Support
Everything just kind of... dies. Depending on mob count I may trigger hydro-dendro, but electro is usually a better choice. Pyro-dendro is great for dealing with bosses or enemies with high health pools, but I feel overall does less damage since you lose the Dendro flower thing. I haven't been able to try Collei or Tighnari yet since the Dendro element is just too new to farm talent materials or decent artifacts; the MC taking all my time and resin.

PSA: All Tabibitos should start doing the Aranyaka world quest as soon as you can. The quest line is ENORMOUS and mandatory to unlock all dendroculus locations. I started on day one of Sumeru, and still haven't finished it.

Honestly with the introduction of dendro i've been having tons of fun, and the fact that my now level 22 collei is fucking deleting the enemies with all the reactions she procs alongside kokomi and my dps fischl, i think i found my new favorite team

Pulled for Zhongli and took the W on the 50/50. Now i just need my favorite cocogoat so i can make a team of my favoritr characters. Ganyu( because cocogoat),Zhongli (asmr voice lel), fischl (because shes interesting), and my man Kazuha because he looks dope.

I've been running around with dendro mc, koko, fischl, and yelan for exploration. I am extremly glad that dendro and electro are so good with each other, since electro used to be one of the most neglected elements
Yo brax just a note on 7:35 i think thoma burgeon would be more viable if you apply hydro on the lotus first, that way it wont blow up, and u can continue making seeds with koko
Hearing that electro characters benefit a lot from Dendro is really nice since characters like characters like Keqing being more viable with it makes more diverse team comps more usable (or enticing to use for the average player).
I always build my traveler even though I rarely use her. However, dendro MC is really good. I am yet to use her in abyss though.
And thus, Xiangling, Fischl, Xingqiu still menacingly stand on the top of support meta.
Honestly, I've been really enjoying burgeon... I'm currently using Ayato, Collei, Xiangling and Bennett, and they are clearing mobs of enemies sooooo fast. My Collei isn't even upgraded past Lv. 40 lmao... Hopefully, I'll be able to raise Collei and experiment with her (and the Dendro element as a whole) a lot more.

My current favorite team with Dendro is Lisa, Sucrose, Kokomi and Dendro MC. They SLAP, and with Lisa's ascension stat being EM, Sucrose giving EM, and the new artifact sets, you can't go wrong. Especially since sucrose will almost always spread electro

I don’t know how good this is compared to other reaction sets but I feel like I’ve had a lot of success actually with a superconduct/aggravate team.
I personally run a physical Rosaria as my main DPS with an Electro Fischl burst support and Diona as a shield/healer. I found added Collei actually as my flex support has been working pretty well. Since Cyro and Dendro don’t really react, you tend to get a lot of reactions and get the benefits of both superconduct and aggravate. Plus Collei actually does pretty well with Rosaria and Fischl given Oz is on the field apply Electro and Rosaria is teleporting and dashing around through enemies which lets her boomerang get a good number of hits in. I do want to try this with Dendro Traveller at some point once I have a few more constellations.
Im using a Childe/Raiden/Collei team with a purely em raiden (since im too lazy to build her proper) and its been very effective
Hyperbloom really helps in single target situations where my Childe/Raiden duo struggled, its really fun

Only thing that pulls me away from making new teams is that no one is built for some of the characters I want to test and would need a couple months to perfect them.

I honestly hope dendro archon is a catalyst user, as consistent dendro application is a must for an element that is reliant on reactions,
and right now "consistent application" and "dendro" don't really fit too well together.
Tighnari has rapid attacks, but each individual hit can only hit 1 enemy max.
Collei can hit multiple enemies with a single attack, but essentially only has enough time to apply dendro for one reaction, and the time between attacks is very slow.
otherwise you have to wait for their elemental burst.

Oh goody, another video full of characters I will never have, because when I spend $100 on this game I get nothing
Hyperbloom teams are actually really strong! lets say you play kuki, dendro mc, xingqiu and ayaka, your rotation will look a bit like this: MC burst > Xingqui burst (This creates bloom) > Kuki skill (Creates hyperbloom) > and then ayaka shredd. With this comp you will get a lot of damage with hyperbloom if you build kuki with EM but it will also be freezing the enemy because of ayaka + xingqiu. This is just insane damage overall because the team really compliments eachother and i think hyperbloom will be the strongest and most interesting reaction in the near future!
After getting tighnari, i've been using bloom a lot since i always have barbara to heal since i'm a xiao main. But I also added keqing to the team and omg the dmg she makes now with the dendro reactions is crazy
right now, am using dendro just for fun, waiting for dendro archon to come home
i have yanfei burgeon team with traveler, ayato for the burst, and zhongli as a shield. I have both range that keeps me off the blast ratio as much as possible AND a shield that i can almost continuously replenish to keep me safe just in case. idk i love it lol it's risky but so satisfactory.
Putting Kokofish in the fridge with the vegetables is really cool.
And I have a good feeling about Dehya being a good burning DPS, maybe by buffing the duration of the damage of the reaction.

with 3.0 i am now constantly on fire
even just burn alone (without burgeon) makes my Yoimiya deal crazy damage & kills stuff fast enough to make up for her lack of AoE

Managed to bag Tig in a 10 pull so hoping he's more versatile later on. But also decided to pull some more for constellations and got collei to c3 (still need to pick up the free one also) and got fischl to C4. So I'm cool with that, was like 42 pulls in total so pretty decent!

on a side note, i really feel like they made kuki with dendro in mind
I love how the characters most of the meta slaves in the community constantly bashed during their release is sooo good with the current patch, some of them almost in every comp here. Ever since kazuha, I felt like the the more the genshin community hates a character the better they are in the long run, and bennett's C tier rankings during version 1 was already proof of it lol.
Heck even way back to Ganyu people said “Cryo Amber” and thought she’d be bad.

My current team is DMC (Dendro Support), Lisa (DPS), Koko (Sub-DPS/Healer) and Yae (DPS). It works wonders with Aggravate and Hyperbloom
note: aggravate doesn't require reapplying dendro so keqing + collei is still a good combo. especially that collei's ult is aoe and keqing's BIG damage comes from her charged attacks (also ult but quicken is the one happening there)
DMC is definitely meta simply because of how his/her burst works. Once it absorbs an element, it cannot react with any other element unlike Tighnari and Collei. Allowing you to trigger Hyperbloom etc reactions with 2/3 characters needed to do so off-field for 12 seconds.
I dare say that if no other Dendro character shares this absorption mechanic in their skills or bursts... DMC will be the best Dendro support in the game for a long time. Just by virtue of how easy they make triggering the multi-element Dendro reactions while off-field and enabling main DPS actual field time. Which is proving better than the three off-field sub DPS teams we see with Tighnari.
That's a good news that pyro 'empire' is now over. Im tired of people keep telling that if dendro is good with hutao or other pyro dps. Not everything revolves around them :)
I made a temporary team just to see how dendro works and man it was very good
Fischl+ Dendro MC+ Xingqiu + kuki
I also tried 2 electro and 2 dendro with
Tighari, Fischl, Dendro MC and Yae miko it was fun though I think I can just put a shielder and replace dendro MC
Anemo characters are good because they activates agravate as electro and dendro units
(Electro swirl)
Tempted to try a Quicken team centered around Fischl, supported by Lisa. My electro character selection is so smol XD
not to be THAT GUY... but uh DPS collei is my goal in life
i have team keqing, fischl, DMC, kazuha to spam aggravate and quicken as much as possible.
With fischl's Oz having no ICD, it can proc aggravate multiple times with EM sands and stringless dendro+electro could make fischl's Oz can be OP enough. You can use 4pcs fury or 4pcs Tenacity(for damage buff) or even new artifact on sumeru Gilded Dreams artifact for more EM on your team 14% more damage on same element which benefit for your DPS Keqing and 150 EM but it depends on what your playstyle is.
Then you have Kazuha to amplify electro damage and also proc aggravate and quicken.
Then there's Keqing, where 4pcs fury ngl can make Keqing more flexible. but if you dont have good substat with those 4pcs, 2/2 glad/fury can be best choice or 4pcs soother.
This team can be used for multiple and even single enemy. I can't call this team as meta but its OP as hell.
(THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THERE IS NO HEALER ON THIS TEAM) so its basically double edge sword team. "Kill before you die or die before you kill."

I found out that Collei's Skill doesn't go through mitachuls' shield... ain't too bothersome but it sure is annoying having to face Braum while you want to deal with the enemies behind him...
