Gemma I can't believe how much luck you have in charity shops! I swear up North there's more retro games knocking about. I'm from the South East (Canterbury area) and I have never seen anything past PS2 era games, and even they are becoming very hard to find! You will never see a console in the charity shops and on the rare occasion when there's a PS1 game, it will be a smashed up case sports title or something. I guess most go to ebay now or online. It's such a shame that the thrill of bargain hunting is disappearing. I'd love for you to come to the South East again and do a few episodes! Maybe you will bring your luck with you. Also, have you ever considered doing a Facebook marketplace episode?? You can screen capture your computer, searching for bargains and do a lil road trip video going and picking stuff up! Anyway my thumbs hurt. Love your stuff, keep it up! :-)
Another great video Gemma. Recently picked up Tekken 5 on PS2 for £2 from the Heart Foundation, (going for £8 in CEX). Also did a £5 challenge in a local Cash Converters, spent 4.50 and managed to pick up Halo the Master Chief Collection for £1. Then bought a selection of games for ps2/3/4 , original xbox and 360 for £12. 53 games in all.
Great video as always Gem🙂🎮In the bonus footage I noticed The Adventures of Batman & Robin and Battletoads on the MegaDrive. I was lucky enough to add both of those boxed and in great condition to my collection last year (although Batman was missing the instruction manual). Two pretty rare games. Amazing to see both of them in the same shop.
Great pickups 👍 the best I ever done in a charity shop was getting Sega Saturn about 2 years ago for 5 pound untested 😊 luckily when I got home it worked perfect.
Do you ever buy anything else from the charity shops than videogames ? Like I sometimes buy movies and recently bought a big painting. But not fan of old clothes. =/
I picked up 18 ps3 games today at a charity shop for £6. I’ll get £84 CEX credit for trading them in. There was a few titles I left behind which I regret not picking up so I’m hoping they are still there in the morning. Charity shops are hit and miss but today has been one of my best days
TheGebs24 Rayman origins, mine craft (x2), Rayman legends, Lego pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars the complete saga, ratchet and clank tools of destruction, sonic generations, Lego lord of the rings, Lego Harry Potter years 5-7, Lego marvel avengers, the Lego movie game, Lego Batman 2 the super heroes, Lego Batman 3 beyond Gotham, Lego marvel super heroes, Lego Jurassic park, Lego dimensions and finally super mario galaxy for the Wii
The good old Mega Drive, Not as good as Snes but still some awesome games for it, And i see Battletoads there in it's box! Pretty rare i think, Oh and love your intro with Ryu!
Was in MGX last week, some of the games are double ebay going rate which I honestly don't get. Stock sits there for ages. I have found good deals on some things though in the past, got a great deal on Lethal Enforcers boxed in good condition for the MD.
The PC is my favorite platform for collecting game physically. For me the most important game In this video was Anno 1602 i would love to be able to add that big box to my collection. ps. Pc games aren't boring i love your channel. 😘
Hi hope your well, my lad and myself love these vids and we do this too lol, tried your 5er challenge at cex but when lads with me we always spend way more hahahaha Talking of psp stuff have you done a vid on it or would you? I love the intro with the Tetris music. Amazing finds Gem! I very rarely find games in my local charity shops in Doncaster.
I can never get lucky with charity shops in game hunts such as in Leeds where tons of them are around and nothing ever found.

Never got that lucky when living in Portsmouth. For consolation there was a retro game shop.
How have you found games in a charity shop. I never find anything. The best I found was FIFA on the 360😂😭
Retro Gamer Boy I know right. It’s usually like that for me too lol
When Gemma completely ignored Blur for the 360, it broke my heart a little. . .
Tim Phan Sorry Tim
