Kollengode - listed as one of the top 10 beautiful villages in India !!!

We always wanted to explore Kollengode because of the beauty that nature keeps to amaze us in this land.
Kollengide is a small town in Palakkad district which is almost 25km away from Palakkad town. It is famous for the paddy fields and the sight of Nelliyampathi hills which brings a great view to our eyes.
Today's travel event was conducted by 'Discover Palakkad' a venture by 'Palakkatukar' (A 50k+ community in Instagram).
We have tried to cover the below places and spent some healthy time in each place. it is meaningless to show rush and run all over the town and ended up with tiredness.
1. Seetharkund nelliyampathi view point
2. Seetharkund waterfalls
3. lunch at ayyapettande kada
4. Chinganchira prakriti temple
5. Tea at Chellapettande kada
6. Muthalamada Railway station (was not permitted to go inside and shoot due to some new restrictions implemented)
7. Chulliyar dam
