The obvious answer is our 3001 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton tee, but if you're interested in doing something more unique, check out this video we did on DTG printing on some of our blends: ruclips.net/video/DU6v2HYcLLY/видео.html
I’d look into a company called RTP apparel. Their shirts are only a dollar more per piece and come ready to print without the need for pre treatment. The shirts. It only come prey treated so you eliminate the need for pre treat but when you put the shirt side by side with a B and C, you can see how low quality B and C actually looks. So you eliminate the need for pre treat saving you so much time and space, and also have a much better quality and longevity for just a dollar more!
Love this! My company is called "Create A Good Vibe", and I'm working more often with clients that like more color to their designs. Thank you for a great video, Christine Morris
@@niccolusmoses5298 I got a full time job and I completely put this dream on the back burner. I can't believe it's been 3 years too! Will add an update again... hopefully not wait 3 years again lol
well its actually the Kornit machine. I had my own screenprinting company for 27 years. the Kornit brand is really the leader in the biz because it does the white underbase for darks on the same pallet as the colors and you don't have to pre spray before you load the shirts. also the print heads are far better and don't get clogged like the other machines. a friend of mine has brothers and they are always getting clogged especially if you are not using them every day. the problem is the brother if bought new is about 20 to 30 thousand and the kornit that you see here in the video is NO JOKE 250,000 per machine.... no joke a quarter of a million for one machine ... hope this helped a little
I’ve been working with Kornits for 5 years now. Before that I had some small form factor machines and take it from me, Kornit piss all over anything that’s in the market. If you want to run a POD fulfilment business they are the only way to go. Expensive yes! But you’re paying for amazing technology, inks and in-line pre-treatment. Along with a barcode drive workflow you’ll hit your capacity very quickly.
Raymond Bravo Hey Ray What amazing company you work for. I have a embroidery factory and just started printing Dtg. Those machines you have are awsome.
15k a day using just 11 machines?.. So even if they are running 24/7 that means each machine has to print 1363 per day = 56 per hour?.... I know these machines are fast but I still don't think those figures are feasible.
I doubt that. At 150 per hour, that would be 1 shirt every 20 seconds. You'd be hard pressed to load the shirts that quickly... much less print them. Especially if these are small orders where the artwork is changing. They probably have more machines, but only talked about the Kornit in the interview, since it seemed like an infomercial.
Steve Lown these machines output the highest I've seen at 850 shirts per 12 hour shift. They run 24/7 two shifts. I used to work for them and averaged 730 prints per shift.
Per machine I might add as well, so varying between white and colored garments, they're pretty spot on as far as print count. We even had a monitor that tracked every machine's prints and print per hour
Seems they liked the Kornit that much they switch to Ovaljet printers. Never seen those before and very interesting. I wonder why though. I use Bella Canvas and like them. Wish they were a tad heavier maybe and the XXL price hike doesn't make sense to me. Steel blue can pre-treat stain if not careful :P
Hi thanks for the video.. excuse me I"m trying to start my t shirt business with DTG printer and I would like to know what Bella canvas models can I use for DGT ink?? thanks..
Hi! Great question, DTG works best with our 100% airlume cotton tees. There are over 60 styles in that fabric. Our heathers and triblends and fleece also work with DTG but 100% works best.
This is very cool to know. We also provide (DTG) Direct to garment printing services. We have an online website where you can create your shirts on our website. We also provide Bella Canvas shirts. We love Bella Canvas because they are quality t-shirts.
She's talking about the entry level ones, like Epson or Brother. The one shown in this video will run you down by about quarter million to half a million USD. We are in same business in India.
don’t use this company....... they take forever to deliver their products and give you some bs excuses....... just a piece of advice. not to mention they go by a different name(print partners). do your research, there’s better companies.
The figures or non existent, kornit lie through there back teeth, these machines are shocking, quality is poor and speed is slow, we average about 35 an hour multiple set ups and 2 20 minute breaks, trust me these machines are overpriced over sold and the figures are over exaggerated!
Wondering which of the Bella Canvas t's print best with the DTG?

Wonderful to see people succeed and a quick look how they are doing.

Yep, definitely worth it if you have the means.
What technology should I use if I aspire to start small and scale; individual versus large batches?
