I have been traveling in this sector from 1970 onwards...I very well remember in early 70s there used to be deluxe train running in this sector... which had a dining car also in it ❤❤❤

Yes, I too do remember. My travelling experience in this sector by GT Express, mostly, was in between 1973 and 1987. And I enjoyed journeys of those days. Nostalgia.

One of the fastest and best train from. Chennai to New Delhi . I m karnataka amd our karnataka express is so slow because of so many stops nearly 40 . I hope railways reduce the stops of kk Express and make like Tamil Nadu Express

That is surely railways should consider because you are right that most trains from SBC end at nzm
Although the benefit of metro is good but not all time one can use metro

... during my childhood days 1979-1983...... only TN Express & GT Express used to be there for chennai........ those days travelling by TN was considered to be premium train ..... don't remember those days bankers are attached to climb the ghats
yes these 2 trains have memories for many and those who havent travelled but love trains would really like to travel in TN
Yes, I too have not seen any bankers attached. Only hauled by twin diesel engines.
Excellent super fast train👍 I usually prefer Tamilnadu express rather than Rajadhani to travel New delhi because of its speed and convenient prices

by checking the running status
Current station status, Arrival nd departures of the station
Even kk must run like TN express from sbc to solapur nearly 765 km non stop for 6 hours
Removal of so many stops isn't going to be easy
If the Karnataka express average speed increases from 62 kmph to.70 kmph and if the stops would be removed from solapur to ksr Bengaluru then you see the journey time of 39 hours will be reduced to 33 hours .and it will be fastest train in Karnataka if further stops removed from solapur to ndls
