The fact this is exactly what inspired the creation of yugioh. Also the monsters of yugioh(at least the ones you see in the flashbacks of ancient egypt) are literally forged from the users soul which really shows the influence of jojo

I'm not 100% on this, but I imagine what's goin on with D'Arby's cheeks is he shaves his sideburns down to stubble but with pencil thin lines through it to stylize his facial hair like a pharaoh mask.

Older D'Arby is actually my favorite among Dio's stand users because not only he defeated two of the crusaders effortlessly but he isn't a one who mainly relies on his stand to do the job. He uses his own human mind to defeat his opponents and the stand only gets to do it's action once he himself have already defeated his opponents on whatever game they agreed upon. Maybe he could actually go up against Dio is he didn't have such power like *oof spoiler*
