@@itsssssjohnny yup, even in 3rd set, they were hesitant to hit killer shots to the injured opponent.. last few points had to due to points closing, but didn't fist pump after winning points like they usually do..
I kinda feel this Malaysian pair doesn't get much recognition... they're over shadowed by their top pair CHIA/SOH, or even ONG/TEO. but this two have been winning recently and climbing the ranks, so good for them...
Apparently one of the China team members got their back injured during the game. They probably knew that the outcome would've been different if they were at 100%
Class act from the Malaysians but got to say that they were outplayed right until China was injured. They did not have answers to the fast pace of China and as soon as shuttle is lifted high, it's game over due to the fast and furious attacks. They need to try to come up with a strategy against this pair when they are both playing 100%.
When you over-sped, exceeded your body's safe working load, you are prone to bear the risk of your "wires" snapped... that's the gamble that didn't paid off well and it's nobody else to blame except yourself for the wrong strategy. Loss is a loss, no excuses unless it was an unforeseeable accident.
@@MeLodiCarAmawell said. First time watching it and even before he got injured i keep thinking how the way they play, the constant hard hitting (some are unnecessary) may cause some injury.
@@arfworks. Right. It's not all about burst of powers.... Most of the times you need placement and deceptions to understand where's your opponent's weakness. Every time he walks away with win after your attack is the time he burns out your confidence level. I agree, it is not necessary to smash hard to tear down the wall. 👋
When Ren said that his lower back felt injured when he was squat quickly, the coach asked him if his lower back was misaligned because he had always had an injury to his lower back. Ren was very sure it was the squatting at that time that caused the old injury to flare up, because he was in so much pain can't move that even can't smash. He discussed with his coach about trying to reset it on the court to try to continue the game
Very good sportsmanship from the Malaysian pair.. kudos
when?
When they won they didn’t celebrate too much. This is because they knew their opponent got injured, and so they showed respect to their opponent.

Yes. Malaysians were a class act. They won, but they elevated themselves to a greater level with their behavior on court.

Watch out for Goh/Izudin and Man/Tee. They are the rising pairs of MD from Malaysia.
@@CMCJJT I hope so... I do hope Goh/Izudin will be more consistent with their games...

Proud of Malaysian pair…
This probably is the first time ever in sport history seeing no smiling face on the winners😅

The malaysian pair played amazingly well....they have defeated the first and second world rank...
This match remain me of the phrase “overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer” Hahaa😂
Oma Gill made a good point! Treatment on court is wrong.
The China Open almost becomes The All China Open. Except the men's doubles, China won all the other titles.😊🤗😄

57:17 clearly in, 42:45 shuttle still on malaysia side
nope at the 42:45 u can see there is 1 frame where the shuttle head is over the net and it is not fault as long as the impact point is crossed the net
