Wow! Vsett 10+ is a beast. I Thought for sure the Thunder would win. For such a price difference this is crazy. I'm sold on the Vsett.

Surely, it's best to keep some weights around in a backpack so the riders have equal weight. It wouldn't take any real effort, you could even do it with rocks. Without equal weight, the results of these tests will always be misleading.

I agree, you could have switched drivers to answer your question about weight and/or make 3 attempts to assert the test.
Other than that, I believe a characteristics table before the test on each side (voltage, aH, Watts, Weight, tires size, price...) could help have a better frame for the comparison.
In that case, I believe that the weight of the Dualtron is larger than VSett10+'s (in addition to the driver's weight), which also could explain the difference at the go.

It’s the ten inch wheels is why the vsett won and only being 2800w its a lot lighter compared to the 5400w thunder its a lot heavier batterie weigh more and then the wheels are an inch bigger that’s more weight

You need to put the thunder in p7 0 and p9 3 , running p9 1 is not fair

All at highest settings. Vsett has smaller wheels so better for initial acceleration, Thunder would have won on a longer race 👍😀
the differance is that the vsett can do this for 2 minuttes and needs a 10min brake while the dualtron can do this how many times you want

Why not just exchange riders?
Perhaps too much power on the dualtron to get traction, maybe it wheel spun slightly at the start and the more powerful motor does that make the scooter itself heavier too 🤷♀️🤔
I don’t know why they only ran one race . They should’ve race three times. Also they should’ve switched riders and ran it three more times to rule out the weight and traction issues

Should have made.it a best of 3 with the riders switching and doing another best of 3. Also would be nice to include the race times to get an average.

The thunder isn't produced anymore but ended being a similar price to the 10+ 👍👍

Does the Vsett's sport mode stay on indefinitely or is it just a short power boost for say less than 10 seconds?
sport mode for 2 minutes and then 5 minutes cooldown

@@mertserimer6928 Marius is right. You can turn off/on vsett10+ and you can use sport mode again before 5 minutes cooldown.
I think there needs to be a follow up on this video being done again and riders swapping. Also I learned that the Thunder has maximum torque from 0-30 but from 30-50 it’s sluggish. Strange how that works maybe to save the controllers from frying themselves. But they are 50 amp peak controllers but run at 40 amp as nominal power.

Just switch drivers and see which scooter is faster. A drag race using different weight drivers what will actually tell you ? To my opinion it will give you an uneven result that you cannot utilize.Also you have to run for at least 400 meters. A drag race for 100 meters will show how fast a scooter accelerates for a short amount of time. What happens after 100 meters is worthy. If I am wrong then drag race for 20 meters or maybe 10

@@ginotonny también tengo un eagle y un soeedway 5 asique te aseguro k se lo k es la aceleración y la del eagle no es muy buena k digamos la punta si pero la aceleración con la controladora de 25a se queda corto en aceleracion

Vsett 10 has peak wattage of 4700 watts in sport mode. Also smaller wheels help with acceleration
@@maxl7827 it is less about max motor power - it is very subjective measurement which has no clear guidelines for. But it is more about Controller and how well it is able to deliver those amps to the wheel + motor design (how efficiently it can deliver those amps to mechanical power at each rpm rate)

Sustained power. Supposedly the VSETT's sports button give you that additional power, but it's good for
@@GSteg It gives that insanity for 2min, after which it will take about 10min to reset - made to prevent over heating. 2 min is a fair bit to utilise it every 10min - not sure any one would need it though.
Without sport button pressed it will still deliver an insane kind of thrust because difference is only 30 vs 35amps with sport button.
keep in mind it was build to be best over all scooter, not the fastest (70 kmh normal /77kmh in sport mode), not the absolute quickest 0-70kmh, not the lightest
As far as I see it, it was build to be STRUCTURALLY proper and reliable, comfortable and yet be in top few in acceleration while to have fairly good top speed (without sacrificing in other areas, like range - it does 80km going 30kmh btw and like 60km if you go very aggressive style) = thus kind of best over all at the price of like 1800euro (AliExpress)
competition is there are more are on the way though, so we shell see - remember how long it took Kaboo to even recognise Stem issue? yeah years. Vsett discovered 2 cases of 11+ front suspension breaking under extreme stresses and already released redesign that fixed it. This is what speaks to me. (I actually think Kaboo still didn't solve stem issue even after they waited years before admitting it)
Sorry I dont trust this .... dualtron have eco mode probably .... know the power of this scooter .... and on start see that is lazy .... and easy calculate ... vsett 10+ have one dual controller 35A, thunder have two 40A controller ... where is more electric power ....

U do realise that these races influence the weak of mind to go to fast on these scooters at a time when we want owned scooters to be made legal. I have a 50mph scooter but dont go that fast as range is more important and 15mph will be the speed limit ahem ? .
Oh, be quiet. You're talking out your arse. These are just performance videos on what the scooters are capable of and many riders are be racing on tracks in scooter competitions. Not everyone speeds around on public roads.

@@leonthompson5885 Speed doesn't kill or hurt, it's the rider or drive. This is clearly proven in Germany with their autobahn.
What is it about speed that gets people twisted in their knickers? Hitting a car at say 30mph will pretty much give the same outcome as hitting at 50mph... your head is getting rocked, no questions asked.
