Dogs don't need us, we need them more than they know. They are always there for us through all the good times and bad. Pretty powerful song through their perspective, through their eyes. They love you no matter what, you don't rescue the dog, the dog rescues you.

I love this song and video but dang I can't watch it without bawling. At the end when he said that it was time to take the dog home and I realized it was time for him to cross the rainbow bridge gets me every time. The first time I saw it and that happened I yelled out "NOOO!!". Even now after watching it a lot my heart still screams no at that part.

The dog took care of the family after he passed. Him pulling up in the truck was him coming back to get the dog and go to heaven (you realize this because when his wife looks out to the yard, neither the truck, dog or Chase is there.) I can't stop playing this song. Wow.
