  • Started at Kilnsey, across the River Wharfe at Conistone and up the track onto the moors. Quite a long climb and numerous gates, but eventually you reach the fantastic wooden road. I have no idea how long it is, but it just goes on and on. Some sections have no road, and you sink into the bog. Eventually it ceases and it is not passable by bike. Maybe you could walk. Turnaround and enjoy that descent. I might use the footage from the descent to make another video. We went home along Silver Road and through Kettlewell , attempting the stepping stones with the bikes. Just a reminder, do NOT ride during the grouse season.
