What you need:
An old basketball
Cat litter (or sand, shredded rubber, styrofoam, memory foam, rocks, etc.)
Rubber repair patch kit
Athletic tape or hockey tape
Sharp razor blade
Marker
Scissors
2-liter pop bottle (to make a funnel)

Is athletic tape what we call masking tape in UK I wonder. The ball looked good without the tape though.
