Hey Mike, great video. It's awesome getting calls from you throughout the week. Keep it up and swing on by next time you're near me. Dad keeps talking about having you build the exhaust for the '69. Merry Christmas my guy
Mike you are going to go far God will take care of you this video is very inspiring. You have a new subscriber keep em coming. and congratulations on your channel.
The work will keep coming when people see your work! I started a shop a year ago on the side and it has been great one of these days I hope to make it a full time job it’s hard to do both great video
What I enjoyed about your video is you see your path, And don’t let anybody ever stop u from fallowing it,U seem like a soiled man,And the lord will always take you to where you should be..!!
nothing wrong with 'self taught'. My union machinist dad picked a 110v a/c stick thing out of the trash when I was 15-now I'm 45 pulling 6 at the 9-5 as a welder, did a few years as a heavy truck wrench too. Got a nice setup at home,my boss doesn't even have a pipepro400.This is America, and guys like us made it what it is!
Thanks for the journey I’m on a similar road. The end “it ain’t pretty but it sticks” I’ve ran into some weird notches I hit with the mig instead of the tig that’s part of learning process keep it up brother the line ahead of you is the same behind
Nice. You said you aren’t good at talking. That’s not true. People on RUclips don’t always want perfection. But they do usually want honest. And you just told a good honest story to RUclips. I enjoyed it. Awesome.
That's a big step in life to take that leap of faith starting your own business. As you move forward you are seeing the universe giving back and allows your dream to be so bright and strong. Now finding a balance with working for yourself is something to pay attention to with family and down time basically to switch the mind off. We all want to be a success but trust your process and systems and think of the complete picture. God and the Universe are with you!
Im glad you kept going, Chris! From what I have seen, you do nice work and you are very efficient. Thank you for sticking with it, you are an asset that is needed!
Hang on to what you got brother one day you will look back and laugh at the little things that are stressing and bugging you now... I've been a fabricator since I was 13 and grew up in a structural steel and handrail shop and now I run that same shop... everything comes with time
Best thing you could do is stay small and have a handful of clients. I’ve seen to many people bite off more than they can choose and ended up bankrupt, lied too, stolen from etc. Up front and honest and loyalty is far and few in between these days! Good Luck!
@ another piece of advice is that if you do grow bigger have a CPA that you know in fact that you can trust with your last penny!!! Had a good friend in the HVAC business that got took for a bit of money because she was cooking the books! Hope the best for you and your family.
Ok i gotta say i found u through src but sitting here in my own shop hangin out watching this video i can tell me and you would be great friends just bcuz you know the right way and wrong way to put on a flat washer. I work in industrial maintenance been a regular automotive mechanic machinery mechanic the job im in now gives me the chance to do a little of everything i love to do wich is fabrication welding machinist work with a mill and lathe electrical plumbing pretty much a little of everything and out of our 3 local production buildings we have 7 guys to fix build repair basically keep all machines facilities and production going and me and my manager recently noticed that someone in our team kept putting washers on backwards in most cases its not that big of a deal buuut me and my manager have major ocd lol we take smallest details to the highest level but we decided to ask each of the guys if they knew the right way to use a washer and all of them told us they thought we were joking and had to show them proof of the correct way like i said with what we are doing its not a make or break type of deal but we take alot of pride in the work we put out so its the small details lol. Just weird that we just went through that at work last week and now here tonight im watching an older video of urs and u bring it up in ur video. You do damn good work man dont give up on what you got going on and dont stop the youtube thing it may take some time but this channel will take off like wild fire one day. Keep workin hard and pushing forward man god bless!!
Nice dude. One day I’ll get my own shop when I grow up lol, I’m 40+ years old. Seriously though, I’m so ready to get away from these new cars and work on some older stuff, get into some fab work. My job has been paying for tools through a tool fund, they’re secretly buying my shop tools to help get me out of there lol.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28 Keep up the hard work man!
Mike, Your ability to get more comfortable talking on camera will come in time. I was the same way in front of talking to small groups of people. Just forget the camera is on and talk like you're talking to a good friend and everything will be just fine. Congratulations on taking the BIG step. Going to work for yourself full time is a big decision. Having a wife and family makes it even more of a challenge. But from what ive seen of your work and your professionalism, Dude you got this handled.
Keep your focus on God and listen to His directives and you will never go wrong! God, family, and job in that order, and you will succeed! Take any and all problems to prayer first, not later, and stay humble.
I knew once you were featured on Gen2Garage & SRC, you would be in demand. Can’t wait to see more of your work.
