Really enjoyed this, thanks Ben. And I love how relaxed this video is, it’s so nice to actually see you analysing the fragrance. I hope that doesn’t sound too weird 😂
haha not weird at all, thanks! I took on board some comments about editing a bit too hard and just let it go and tried not to worry about talking too much, I'm glad it seems better!
Oh nice, what were they saying about it? It seems to be quite well received, but honestly I can't see why. It's nice, but nothing more for me I think. I do think for a Penhaligon's scent, it has good performance, way better than most of their stuff, but that's about it, everything else I thought was perfectly pleasant but pretty average.
Talking Scents the post was wanting to know if anyone in the group had tried it and wanting opinions. The only comment said it was a sweet rose and if you like Oud Satin Mood you might like it.
So its a rose oud with a fancy name? Speaking about oud accords...have you tried both Diptyque's Oud Palao and Initio Parfums Oud for Greatness? If so, please share what you think about those two.
Sounds like they could have added a few more notes to this one. Doesn't seem to live up to the name. I like fragrances that tell a complete story. This one may be missing a couple of chapters for me. Thanks for the review, Ben!
oh man, it was a hot week, to be honest, I wore a lot of Bvlgari Aqua Amaras and Zoologist Hummingbird, but as it got hotter I ended up wearing lighter stuff like Jo Malone etc. JM Cologne 154 is pretty old fashioned but I like that for the heat. It's quite easy going and fresh and has enough coolness to it to not make me want to die from over spraying on a hot day lol. Honestly I'm not great with summer scents, so any recommendations I'm all ears!

I saw this mentioned in a Facebook group today...I hadn’t heard of this one yet, so it’s nice to see you reviewing it.

oh yeah, that's a good call actually. The MFK is sweeter (and better!) imo but I can see the comparison.

Bet Brighton will be boiling tomorrow. Any good recommendations for the summer heat?
