Love this short but informative tutorial, thank you for sharing!! Would really appreciate a followup tutorial on a basic light setup and the smooth gradient texturing on your monkey character to achieve a similar still render 🙏!!
I haven't had any issues up until I got to the Shrink Wrap deformer, when I move the target into the deformer properties nothing happens, I haven't strayed from the tutorial and my settings seem to be the same as your so not sure why this is happening ://
I just figured it out! I have no idea why this works but if anyone runs into this issue I made the shrink wrap deformer a child of the subdivision surface then made the target the "body" polygon instead of the subdivision surface
i did a few of these figures in blender... it took me very long because im new to blender... im not sure if i should use blender again or should try cinema4d...
I have attached a project file to the lesson. You can find all the material settings (in fact, this is a regular gradient ramp) and lighting setup. But if you are interested in this topic at all, then I could record a separate video on materials and 'look development.'
Thank you for the amazing tutorial! I've never thought about using the Spline Wrap when modeling a Character. I have one question. I added one more(total 6) null object as a controller and loop cuts making the tail part, but it is not smooth enough like yours. Any advise or tip for me?

There are sounds in English that are entirely absent in Russian. Russian-speaking people cannot pronounce them without making a lot of effort or without exercising for a long time. However, in Russian, too, there are many such sounds. It's often pretty funny to watch Americans play Russians in movies. Your remark is correct; I will work on the pronunciation and hope to surprise you soon pleasantly :)
@@vlbrsk cool i hope you improve soon , i'm glad you take it positively :) its was just a question out of curiosity sometimes you see or hear something and you question why its happening that's it thanks for the explanation and the tutorial tho
You model is great but you skip a LOOOOOT of information in what are you doing. And also, for me, not an exactly a english native, your english is impossible for me to understand.... But good work tough....!
Bro if your going to make a fuckinf tutorial atleast don't use any short cut keys simple as that. You are making a video tutorial for beginners. Im here replaying and tryna see wtf yu clicked even when i slow the play back speed 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

This is amazing but I wish you shared your materials process.
is there a tool to export a sprite-sheet in horizontal 360 by 22,5 and vertical 180 by 45 to get 20x5 sprites ? thx
This looks easier than blender 😁😁😁
