Sorry this was a bit behind Oberon's actual release. I thought I would have a couple of more days lol I haven't rolled for him yet but I hope to do so and post it up sometime tomorrow :) I hope everyone had good rolls!
What I like about him is the fact that he can brute force farm units that cant 3 turn loop. Hell, the fact that he can make Geronimo Loop is nothing short of a miracle.
The funny thing is that you cant use oberon with her😂 Only black grail and the need for atlas mystic code makes it impossible to use oberon😂 So just for this reason i changed my mind cus her damage will be bad at np1 sadly
I'm glad somebody finally said it in a video! Oberon is essentially an extra NP level for most of your DPS Servants. For NP2 he scales better than NP3, and for NP3 he scales better than NP4. But if you only have NP1, no problem, it's close enough to NP2 and with a mystic code or skill's NP damage up, it'll go beyond even that!
Man is just one of my favorite characters in game and setting now after playing LB6. Grailed him to 100 and 10/10/10 on day 1. Everything about his character just hits every single right spot for me, and I absolutely love everything about Vortigern. His design? Killer. His voice? Nails the character, holy shit. His personality? Very entertaining while perfectly communicating his hatred (or does he actually hate you?). This man is exactly the kind of antagonist I aspire to write one day, he is perfect in my opinion and I would gun to get enough of him to 120 if only Summer Anastasia weren't right around the corner.
Thank you for the video! My main account didn't know when to stop rolling and actually wound up with NP3 for the guy (at expense of leaving pretty much nothing for incoming banners), so I look forward to trying 6CE (or 5CE + BG) tactics with him. This was one case though where my alt account's luck was far worse than my main's, and it's rather Oberon-less at the moment (NP2 Koyanskaya smirking). I'll still be able to roll a few singles from login & FQ rewards before the banner ends, and I might waste 6 RPs on 6 summoning tickets from trial quests as a final attempt of last resort, but it's not looking good right now. Ah well, it *is* a bit boring when both accounts use the same exact teams for the same exact nodes, so I'll need to be a bit more creative for lotto events and such.
I pretty much know everything that has to be known about this servant (love him to pieces.) If I am here, is just because I enjoy watching your videos.
The fact that Oberon does not get along with Merlin is because they are totally opposite and incompatible, so even with Clairvoyance Merlin cannot see it.
600 SQ, got NP2! I was already set with 900 SQ just for him to hit pity in the event things went poorly, but I really wanted NP2 if possible. He's been my main target for the last two years.
Definitely my favorite servant 2nd only to Morgan! And I liked him a lot in LB6 ! I spent 430 sq and 18 tickets and I didn’t get him 🙃 do I’m working towards getting around 60 sq so I can roll for him again and hopefully get him ! My Morgan and Koyanskaya would definitely appreciate his help !
the man is finally here and he treated me much better than on JP! with that i've managed to survive the entire gauntlet with more than enough leftover for summer. glad i chose to stay strong and save every single roll after the space ishtar disaster in january. from my JP experience, he's not mandatory for 90++ if you're willing to contend with some card/crit RNG, but he will surely make your life a lot easier if you have him. i will definitely be putting him (along with vitch of course) to work during grand nerofest 😈 wishing that moth boi will be more reasonable than vitch was for you!
I'm glad that I got him without too much fuss. He is a force and definitely a character that's worth getting for all the reasons above. Has been fun already just doing some silly farming with him and Vitch powering Melusine to "absolute power" levels of damage. It's a really effective kit. Pretty sure I won't end up using him as a DPS very often, but I do think it's nice to remind people that he can fill that spot.
I know people love using his 3rd skill on the offensive but I've been having so much fun using it DEfensively. Casting this on a ally you want to sack off is so fun. You can also use it to avoid single target NPs from nuking Oberon or another ally and plug suit someone out with it. It's honestly really fun. A three turn taunt is nothing to sneeze at.
I'm so glad my favourite servant is finally here. Now, I pray my favourite Type Moon character of all time comes on JP's upcoming anniversary. I need Aoko so badly. She'd be the ultimate buster servant.
i have a feeling the 8th anni servant will be olga (not sure if her being on the cover of the new OST album means anything but we'll see) but if they pull a fast one and drop aoko i'd be so down.
Yes, there's about a 95% chance the anni servant is boring Olga. And that'll make me skip so easily. Especially because then Summer Melusine will probably come. But I still want to get my hopes up for Aoko. If she doesn't come, maybe we get a Mahoyo collab in the future. I just don't have my hopes very high for that just because the last couple collabs have been a joke.

810 SQ to get this dude. had to buy two packs for this. I was super prepared for LB6 but then NP5 Meluko took 2k4 SQ and everything went south super quickly. Got around 600 more sq after anni so after getting Koyan in abt 150SQ, I only had around 500or so SQ to pull for him. On the one hand, I'm super duper happy that I got the full set for my girl from the whole LB6 banners (yes even a MLB Black Grail). On the other I might never be able to obtain S.Kama since next year we have Lady Avalon.

Had a habit of offering all the free sqs generated from a lostbelt map (+ any sq to make it to 30) to that lostbelt's banner as an "offering" and thank you for their world, was pulling for Barghest and not really expecting any much because my luck aint that good, then the moth came (and I don't even like his attitude lol)
Koyanskaya and Oberon both came home after doing 2 kitasean rituals for each of them, but I'm severely lacking qp to even fully upgrade Koyanskaya. Additionally, I can't get Arjuna Alter's mana loading so I can't try out Buster looping. I know farming is going to become easier, but to get there I am going to have to grind like before. Also, Oberon thought it'd be really funny to troll me by having the gold card that I saw on the first multi of his banner not be Barghest, but my third Artoria. Just means my Saber is even stronger now, but this exact thing happened on Barghest's first banner, but it was Altera. I'm really hoping this doesn't happen a third time on Barghest's next banner with Morgan because I just want a single Barghest and summer is right around the corner
I was able to get the Sus Moth in 40 Tickets and 4 multis! Unfortunately, I won't be able to raise him right away as Tesla and Catjuna sucked up my EXP alongside continuing my 120 Vritra project. Fingers crossed Nero Fest comes soon!
i just got him after 650sq.. i ran out at 400sq and just did interludes and rank ups and bond farming, every single went to him and finally man i got him goodluck on everyone's rolls
Glad I got Oberon because I can finally replace my Superscope with something like Aerial Drive on my Double Koyan + Gil / Godjuna team set-ups, but most of all, I'm glad that I can finally 3-turn farm using Melusine + lvl 100 Black Grail. Double Koyan + BG Melusine + Oberon team just annihilates everything that I even use this team to farm Saber enemy nodes.

i kinda got sadge when my melusine rolls went sub par bc i knew i wouldnt have enough sq for anything coming up i scraped by getting a koyan just bc i topped up one last time (which might have been a bad idea financially speaking) but i went into oberons banner with basically nothing left but the gacha gods smiled upon me and they graced me with an oberon within like 40 rolls
Man with moth man muramasa is going to ge even crazier with a 10% np damage buff for every np plus Oberon 30% that 3rd skill combined with muramasa np gonna hit very hard
I am very happy. He to come home at 90 SQ and 20 Tickets. And I still got Xiang Yu, Gawain NP2, Tristan, and more np of the two fairy kinght, i think it's the first time I've been EX luck ++. Now, let's try to get some more NPs for morgan and then save for the Avenger Kama. I'm still at 980 sqs.
Honestly, this last month or so of FGO has bumped my account from very mildly unimpressive to actually functional. Got spooked by Waver on Ibuki's banner (no np2 for her but still a win) with just a few tickets which then freed me to grab Tesla from the free SSR summon, then also got Castoria with around 20 or so tickets. Koyan came after 5 multis and then Oberon was even more generous, coming home after only 4 multis. Currently, my best setup is throwing a np1 Saber Ibuki with an MLB Sewing a Beloved Doll CE supported by double Koyan and Oberon. Not really an universal solution for farming but it works well enough, even with Oberon having only his second skill maxed out. Now I'm just waiting for the next lotto event to refill my resources because I'm basically out of QP and materials after leveling all these powerhouses lol.
Finish lb6 to get habetrot and get her to np2 or 3 in the fp gacha and you will be set to 6-slot most content in the game. Double castoria/ 1 cast and oberon using 2004 mc for normal nodes And double castoria + plug oberon for harder nodes.

@@ValterTH10 it is the best MC in the game if you exclude plug suit comps. 6-slot/arts farming gets way harder without it. 50% np dmg and 50% np gain It doesn't take that much time to complete the history if you are skipping the dialog, since you are going to use your natural ap to do it instead of farming mats. Harder part is probably getting habetrot copies for a new player. Since it would be best to wait for gudaguda for CE EXP and coins.
Im pretty sure that Oberon isn’t immune to stun. The stun effect that is reffered to in his passive is the terror version of stun. And the confusion version of skill seal, not skill seal itself.

Lore hell, is probably the worst hell out here. I can’t max out Oberon’s second skill to Arjuna farm, can’t with Melusine first to bringdown the cool down to black grail, and can’t use 50% on Arjuna alter because I can’t complete his append 2. It’s hell, every other material can be farmed but lores.
It is possible to use black grail with Oberon, though you will need a servant that can provide 30%np to one character so its a doozy if you wanna do Double KoL + Oberon setups
Koyanskaya burned me to my threshold and she didn't even come home. I now have zero sqs for Oberon cause I'm saving up for Summer Okitan and Summer Kama. I'm at 890 sqs.
300 SQs and 30 tickets netted me NP 4 Oberon and NP 1 koyanskaya plus a np2 gawain (not tamlin) and a couple of spooks, a great roll. Thankfully not interested in any of the upcoming servants

I got my mothman with only 120 SQ and 10 tickets the bad news I don't have enough QP for level up the skills of mothman also my koyanskaya still need skills gems and QP the only level 10 skill is the battery but thats not enough to experience the full power of buster farming
My Koyan is the same (10/4/6) with Oberon being like 7/9/7. I would suggest to farm QP now with half ap cost and get the gems at nerofest, which should be coming in like 2 weeks (unless they release summer first). After I got 2 secret assassin gems from 2 days of farming their training ground I gave up cleanly for efficiency.
30 SQ baby, my luck is finished lol but I got Oberon so that's something, also alt acc got np2 in one multi with 200sq I am scared for my life this is too good to be true send help Im in danger lol
i'm aware of the benefits but the funds just aren't there. honestly i'm lucky to have gotten koyanskaya in a ticket. maybe some other time. plus the dude is a bastard (take that however you will).
When Koyanskaya was released, I told myself that I wouldn’t roll for her because I was saving for Oberon, but my need for gacha roll adrenaline got the better on me and I ended up rolling and getting her. I feared my chance to get Oberon but I still rolled for him immediately when he was released. I managed to get him in my first multi and now I have him at NP3 (now I just have to do Heian-Kyo and Avalon la Fae). I wish any masters who haven’t got him yet the best of luck. He’ll be a servant you won’t regret getting.

Morgan was a servant i was going for and got her. For Oberon and Koya i did yolo rolls and get both in 212 sq

I was lucky enough to get Oberon at NP 3! I use Artoria, Oberon, and Waiver all together on a team and it absolutly slaps!

60 sq, 10 tickets, 3 copies. Failing every SSR after Muramasa has finally paid off.
NP4 going for a tristan and gawain. I got 7 SSR's before one copy of tristan. but he's been very fun to use as a support

Lore hell, is probably the worst hell out here. I can’t max out Oberon’s second skill to Arjuna farm, can’t with Melusine first to bringdown the cool down to black grail, and can’t use 50% on Arjuna alter because I can’t complete his append 2. It’s hell, every other material can be farmed but lores.
About 3 should come with NeroFest

It is possible to use black grail with Oberon, though you will need a servant that can provide 30%np to one character so its a doozy if you wanna do Double KoL + Oberon setups

Koyanskaya burned me to my threshold and she didn't even come home. I now have zero sqs for Oberon cause I'm saving up for Summer Okitan and Summer Kama. I'm at 890 sqs.
I got him thankfully but god damn it, he didn’t make it easy for me at all. It felt like I couldn’t get him until my last single double roll
300 SQs and 30 tickets netted me NP 4 Oberon and NP 1 koyanskaya plus a np2 gawain (not tamlin) and a couple of spooks, a great roll. Thankfully not interested in any of the upcoming servants

I got my mothman with only 120 SQ and 10 tickets the bad news I don't have enough QP for level up the skills of mothman also my koyanskaya still need skills gems and QP the only level 10 skill is the battery but thats not enough to experience the full power of buster farming
My Koyan is the same (10/4/6) with Oberon being like 7/9/7. I would suggest to farm QP now with half ap cost and get the gems at nerofest, which should be coming in like 2 weeks (unless they release summer first). After I got 2 secret assassin gems from 2 days of farming their training ground I gave up cleanly for efficiency.

i'm aware of the benefits but the funds just aren't there. honestly i'm lucky to have gotten koyanskaya in a ticket. maybe some other time. plus the dude is a bastard (take that however you will).
When Koyanskaya was released, I told myself that I wouldn’t roll for her because I was saving for Oberon, but my need for gacha roll adrenaline got the better on me and I ended up rolling and getting her. I feared my chance to get Oberon but I still rolled for him immediately when he was released. I managed to get him in my first multi and now I have him at NP3 (now I just have to do Heian-Kyo and Avalon la Fae).
I wish any masters who haven’t got him yet the best of luck. He’ll be a servant you won’t regret getting.
