It was more so about the message in the song and the reason behind a entire class full of teenagers singing a song in the middle of class. If you listened to the very first girl who introduced the song, you would hear that the song with the ENTIRE class was a tribute for a classmate to his family. Just maybe the first soloist had a special friendship with the deceased class mate that the second soloist did not have. That makes a difference. I was on the Gospel Choir in high school and we was supposed to sing at a classmate's funeral. After sitting on the choir stand and looking down on him and realizing that he was (is) dead and remembering his last day in class, I could not sing with the choir.
I am 16 years old and i suffered from depression and surgeries because i have hydrocephalus i listen to better days everyday because i feel like i am blessed to be on this earth alive and not dead i also suffered from suicidal because i was being bullied all the school 1-8 grade and i thank god for not taking me out this young i am blessed amen.
