Your comment is so difficult to follow. He did mention some of these items are specific to his area which is gulf coast. If his soil is like mine, it’s sandy clay and can cause ponding; especially with the heavy rains we get. Also, soil settles so if you plant a tree a little higher then ground level here, you’re better off then at or lower then level. Between ponding and settling, you can easily choke a tree out. No need to add a rude comment about his education. He’s very familiar with farming and gardening in his area.
You make me smile!!! I wish I knew this information earlier in the season. Maybe I could have stopped my Dad from throwing fertilizer at his problems 😂😂

thanks for your info. Sometimes I'll give my sunny container plants a midday cooling mist or spray shower. They seem to really enjoy it. 😊
