Gracias Mary. Excelente!!! Me fue de gran utilidad. Me gustaria ver todos.

Hello Marta! How wonderful that you've discovered the most natural placement for the thumb and what a massive difference it makes to...everything! We forget about the thumb. don't we?
The video about dubious RUclips 'advice' about thumb placement was 'The Inner Workings of the Left Hand on the Violin'
      ruclips.net/video/69osBchjZu0/видео.html
Of course there is plenty of fantastic violin advice on RUclips but there's also loads that's drivel. This particular advice about placing the thumb forward was so damaging to the left hand and arm that it really needed addressing.
I feel so sorry that there are lovely violinists out there who are in pain, struggling or have even given up because they've been led in the wrong direction.
We really need more true beauty in the world and our violin journey is such a valuable contribution. Congratulations Marta! Mary
