I went to the blue lagoon 3 weeks ago and it was amazing. When I went it was -5 degrees outside and we went at 7:30 in the morning and it was amazing as the sun rose over the mountains with all the snow on it it was so pretty
I have to be honest, I never even considered going into an airport lounge. I always thought they were bars with a little work space area. I had no idea they could be so awesome. I'll will work on getting into them in the future. Kara and Nate have shown me the way!
I went to Iceland and Blue Lagoon back in 2007. We went at night and I think that is the best time to go! Not as many people and the lights on the water make for a cool experience. Great videos! Love watching them.
Not that I don't enjoy every vlog from my favorite travel bloggers, this one was my absolute favorite in the last 2 weeks ❤️❤️ you guys are awesome, loved all the pure joy an laughing. Plus my want to visit Iceland helps 😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 never change you two!!!!!!!
Oh Iceland is so beautifull been there 6 years ago. Did the golden circle, saw geisers and 24/7 daylight. So weird to experience that and I saw whales. And not to forget the blue lagoon
Beautiful experience, and I loved your crazy side just as much as your informative one, lol. What was your expectations Nate? I'm surprised that you had a lower expectation.
I was just there a week ago 🙂. It was very unique, fun and relaxing. You can swim, float, walk, or simply sit in a quiet place enjoying the scenery. Masks and drinks make the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Your sister and brother in law are such a hoot! I love that they bring out the "silly" in ya'll and I so love that when they photo bomb your shots they are so FUN!!!
Yes, reserving your time at Blue Lagoons wheels or months in advance in the summer is a must. I flew there from Bergen after finishing a week in Norway on a whim. Thought I could buy a ticket but sold out for 3 days
I stopped by for three days on my way to the US, flying with Iceland Airways, but we made sure to book the tickets to The Blue Lagoon months ahead. It was the middle of summer and absolutely packed, even at 10pm (was the summer solstice, so still light outside.) Everybody was enjoying themselves.
@@eszterk8394 they had 220 when I made my 1st comment on country #2 I pointed this out to Kara when I congratulated them on 3m subs and she remembered me! Even commented on the fact that she'd called me Mark "Evan" Evans! Even though they are RUclips royalty they still are humble and still in touch with their subscribers!
Recommend book the earliest time slot for the Blue Lagoon. Arrive early when the steam is rising from the lagoon into the cold morning air and there are only a few other tourists around
Excellent I don't think we have laughed so much at the antics that you all got up to awesome stay safe now we are looking to the next comity capers ha ha
That Yotel looked pretty cool. We might have to look into them! Now y'all need to visit the Blue Lagoon in Australia. It's on Moreton Island, but it's not very blue and not as pretty. It's just awesome that it's on this small all-sound island.
We stayed at the blue lagoon hotel, they have their own pools that are so much nicer than the actual blue lagoon and are open til midnight so a lot of the time we practically had a private lagoon. it's 5 minutes from the actual blue lagoon and you get free entrance.
Air Berlin is no more. I went to the Blue Lagoon once. Years ago during the fall. It was cold and windy. We all ran from the building into the lagoon to stay warm, and ran out of the lagoon back into the building even faster. That time of year it wasn't very busy. As far as food, yes it's very expensive. I ate at a burger place in Reykjavik called Burgerjoint three times to save money. A burger, fries and soft drink set me back about US$16. Not cheap, but a bargain compared to everywhere else.
I love the Blue Lagoon, but it's not a natural hot spring. It's a by-product from the electricity plant nearby, they pump up steaming hot water to generate electricity for city heating and pump it out at 40°C every 48 hours, ideal temp for us tourists ;)
When I went to Iceland with a friend, we went during the Summer Solstice, so we had 23 hours of daylight! Sadly, we missed a U2 concert by 2 days, but it was very cool when we went to the Blue Lagoon, as it started to snow, while we were relaxing in the warm springs! We didn't want to leave the warm water! On the way from the airport, our BnB host took us to look at traditional Icelandic houses. Struck me as quite similar to archeological sites I have seen in Denmark, Sweden and Scotland.
Have been watching you guys for a few weeks and I love love love your style of videos such good story telling and your attitude is incredible loved Kata skidding the window down and saying how fun it will be at the blue lagoon so sweet
You need to road trip in a van to Wyoming during the summer. Hot springs in Seritoga, WY. Has several springs that are super clean, HOT pools with different temperatures!! Something to look into.
We went to Iceland around the same time y'all did just two weeks earlier. It is crazy watching this because i was in the exact places y'all went and did the same things!
all this time thinking "why don't these guysgo to Iceland?!?!" And they've already been there Also, got a good laugh about the much smaller suitcases,I guess you guys have so much more geer now! I love that the videos are much longer these days!
I had to laugh when you said they have spicy food ... been there 3 times and food was good,, expensive but not spicy :) campervan was the best way to get around !
Hey Nate and Kara, wanted to say thank you for posting video logs and would like to know where in Iceland did you stay at? I want to go to Iceland next year. That is a great airbnb. Thanks for the awesome videos and information!
One of the reasons that things cost more in Iceland is because the things are shipped from China to the us, and then to Iceland! I learned this from a friends of mine who is an exchange student from Iceland!
I’ve been to some of the same places you guys were at, it was making me so nostalgic! The blue lagoon is awesome, however there’s so many cool hot springs that are less expensive and crowded.
@@magssm We went to one called the Secret lagoon, also if you get up into the West Fjords, there are hundreds of little Oceanside hot springs that are amazing.
These videos are just infectiously happy

Yes I am late by 2 years but pleased that the British made your stay most enjoyable. Love what you guys do especially the overnight trains!!!

Iceland is the best!! We went for our 10th anniversary and I fell absolutely in love with Iceland! I can't wait to go back someday!

Omg I just realized I missed y’all by like two weeks. I even went to that same Bonus/Kronur store. There was a nice cafe over there I think....

My husband and I rented an RV and drove around the entire Country in 10 days! It was fabulous!

Air Berlin is broke now. So I guess you will only have a few weeks left of your status.
I went to the blue lagoon earlier this year and had a blast! Nice video!
Wow! Enjoy kara and nate! ❤️
Kara, you are gorgeous. Beautiful couple.
Kayla and Barrett should start their own channel who agrees???
I luv Kayla & Barret!

You guys should do it that way every travel day.

I was watching the Chiang Mai vlogs when I got the notification!! Amazing VLogs!!!
Do you guys know about the supermarket called Iceland in the UK?
I’ve been to some of the same places you guys were at, it was making me so nostalgic! The blue lagoon is awesome, however there’s so many cool hot springs that are less expensive and crowded.
Can you suggest some?

@@denflyer832 thanks
I would love to see a more in depth video on the details behind the status and lounge technicalities.
I live there
nice vlog guys looks like you had fun
We have a number of hot springs in Montana. You need to try Fairmont Hot Springs. It’s a nice hotel, with hot springs pools.
Your shared experience sure didn't lower my expectations of this place should I ever visit.
Kara, I hope you stocked up on kinder chocolate while you were at bonus! It's super delicious and really cheap at the Bonuses in Iceland!!
The vlog is more fun w you guys 😂
I went to church with the Sims! They're a great family! Super cool!!
Omg i didn't realize this but I was actually in Iceland around the exact same time that you were! I love that country. It is amazing! :)
