Congrats. Didn't see much here in the Southern Zone in the morning because they're moving in still in the dark. I'm hoping to be on something in the afternoon. That's some great footage. I love to see them doing what they do. Ironically enough, on day one of early antlerless season, what walks in first? 3 bucks (2 nice shooters) that I couldn't touch. While I'm sitting there ogling their horns, I get busted from behind by a doe. I tried opening day in the Dacks, but saw nothing.
Thank you! Its been slow in southern zone aside from this hunt for me, I also hit the Adirondacks for rifle opener and was fortunate to knock down a slammer 14 point in the high peaks. But i hope you get on something soon! What zone do you hunt? Im 3M
@3vaneoutdoors836 Nice on that 14! I was about an hour from there. This morning a huge basket 6 (could've been an 8) came in at 40 yards, but went down the creek. Doe came in about 10 minutes later. Had her dead to rights at 30, but she was a yearling. So it's pretty good so far.

If your not hunting by food is it ok to get to stand first light? I feel like the flashlights alert the deer in morning dark.
I do not think a flashlight alerts deer to you coming in at all, but do whatever you are comfortable with, coming in at first light is also fine
