OMG. Actually OMFG!. When I bought this years ago they said it could do this but the B&G tech guy didn't know how. Very well done video. Thank you so much

You mention, that in another video you did, you talk about transferring routes. I’m having trouble finding which video that is. I’m hoping you could, post a tip on how to find that video in your catalog. Thank you so much for all of these videos.

I have not had time to do that video. It is on my list. Will try to complete in the next couple of weeks.

Just wondering why your chart display looks like it does not have depth details and looks like a default low resolution chart? Cheers

Hi Brian! Thank you for watching. The charts do have depth, detail and layers. I did not had those features on when I was doing the video.

Thanks for your quick reply Jose, I have just placed an order for a Vulcan 9 and have the dilemma of should I mount it on the cockpit bulkhead like you, or at the navigation table and mirror to my iPad and have a secure and safer environment for the Vulcan down below..cheers

@@brianlintonjones I think the placement will depend on your boat and the visibility you want to have. For me, I wanted the chart-plotter on the bulkhead and keep things clean around the helm, so I went with the Vulcan 12. I can see it nicely from the helm. The iPad works great for me at the Nav station because it takes very little space. Best of luck with your project!

Not my experience at all using a Samsung tablet. It looks 15 min each day to start this mirroring and sometime, simply didn't work. This piece of software is very unstable also. So, either use the Vulcan next to the wheel or buy yourself Navionics for your tablet. I ram rating this mirroring as very poor and got no help from B&G (only a bunch of excuses). Sorry !

Sorry to hear that the Samsung Tablet did not work as good as the iPad.
I have not had any problems with it and it’s stable.
Just curious, is your Vulcan and your Samsung updated to the latest versions? Is tour Samsung a new tablet?

I have the same experience with all my Android devices. It's not so much the stability, but I do have an issue with image color offset. My iPad does not have this problem. B&G knows about this problem but does not help!
