I really like his approach to his craft; it certainly helps that his NBA dad guided him along. So glad that he feels valued in Toronto. What a high ceiling this young guy has. Such a smooth jumper, I could watch that all day.

I can’t think of any trade that actually benefited all players involved in putting them in a new situation that will positively impact their growth as a player. OPEN GYM stays setting the bar high in documenting these special moments.
What makes playing for us special is you have a country behind you. It sucks that we cant be there to make the stadium roar. Toronto fans a different breed.

We NEED to keep hold of gtj in the off-season. We have a super talented young group here and a great coach in nick. Just need to develop the talent which in my opinion we are the best in the league at. These boys will come good eventually and it's gonna be exciting to see !
To hear GTJr say that he felt like he's finally wanted by his team is kinda sad - I thought Portland knew what kind of gem they had in him, but I guess the focus has always been on keeping Dame, McCollum, and Melo happy first. Oh well, their loss! He's got the right mindset for this Raptors team, and even when he's not sinking his shots, his defense and ball handling have been a huge added bonus. Also, with Birch added to the lineup, and Gillespie showing off some rebounding skills, they're finally getting the stops they need in the paint in order to keep games close, and it gives them a chance to pick up some wins down the stretch. Not the year for them to go very far, but as that banner on their practice court says, "Expect To Win" - play every game through, don't tank the season just to get a higher draft pick, and no matter who the opponent is, play like you know you will get the W. Next season when things start falling back into place, hopefully with the border open and Soctiabank is hosting games again (ahem, Toronto, get your vaccines asap and keep social distancing PLZ), these guys will be playing on the same level footing as the rest of the league. Having a place to call your own, being in an environment that is familiar and comfortable to you, having fans in the arena to cheer you on, it makes a world of difference to a team that's playing only away games for the last year. Bring them home!
Carlos Rogers was my first favorite Raptor. Im liking GTJ33. He will get his chance with this team. Masai doesn't trade of basketball skill, its all about attitude and mindset. Miss norm but I like this trade
I think this is a win - win situation for both teams. Blazers get the solid 3rd scoring option and 2 - way guard while people say the trade doesn't really make any sense because their values are similar on their respective teams, The blazers add a championship tested player while the raptors get the younger talent, a bigger guard to develop which could surpass Norman's ceiling and value in the future at a lower cost.
#GTJ is a nice fit, OG has a buddy to build around, they're the next duo, like Pascal and Fred... Our franchise is in good hands.. Next year we going for that second chip... Can't wait for #GTJ to experience the #ScotiabankArena #WeTheNorth

I would sign John Collins in the offseason. Collins, Siakam, Anunoby, Trent Jr,VanVleet is a solid starting 5.
