      Swooping Eagle everyone knows he’s one of the best passers ever, especially the knee cut, but he has an interesting approach to guard work that I haven’t seen covered. While many at light and below are playing dlr, rdlr, boloing, spider, he keeps it simple, lots of standing with singles, interesting 1lx and x variations for sweeping.

      Man you're right, I'd love to see studies on both passing and guard game, 'cause both are amazingly effective

    Thank you for doing this one with music playing and your annotations and comments in written form. Just my opinion but I prefer it this way.

    Always a great video with good insights.

    If you numbered the video frames with overlayed text you could include a read along script of your video that could more easily and quickly be translated to other languages, opening your content to more audiences.

    i hate passing guard with a passion, i just want to be lazy and lay back and let people come to me so i can attack them with kimura, guillotine, or xguard/ankle lock

      Eric Rolston really? So it's similar to nogi?

    • @swoopingeagle3942

      You're not a complete jiujitsu fighter without GI bjj

    • @Bebothebum
      @Bebothebum 6 лет назад

      Swooping Eagle I don't do juijitsu anyways, I grapple. I also do mixed martial arts where I don't do karate or boxing, I strike. I'm just poking fun. I'd like more mma grappling breakdowns.

      Try GI someday, it' a good experience and very, very fun.
