the second urusei yatsura film is a strange case because although it deals with very primitive and erroneous topics in the realm of metaphysics, the execution, dialogue, filmography, comedy, suspense, and action heavily outweighs that flaw. it's one of my favorite anime films and my favorite of the UY movies (but tied with the fifth film, which i consider to be one of the greatest finales to an animated series). the music is certainly a testament to the extravagance of the film, and this particular motif and piece(s) are, in my opinion, as beautiful and comparable to some of the scores by john williams. it's definitely a masterpiece in the realm of animated film, and i plan on rewatching it soon. the vibes of this movie are truly something else.

Beautiful Dreamer is such a memorable movie. I love coming back to it every now and then, it never gets old
