Thank you so much for your videos. I have just finished medical school and couldn't have done it without your videos (especially the haematology/oncology playlist). God bless you.
Always enjoy your videos. Even though I am a lay person and don't always know exactly what you are talking about, I learn a lot. Wonder if you have an opinion on this: My background is Paroxysmal Afib, Mild pulmonary hypertension, Mild asthma. Situation is: I had a very bad acid reflux reguritation into my mouth while sleeping burning everything - nose, throat, and lung aspiration. Resulted in massive outpouring of mucous. Over next couple days developed deep chest coughing and gurgling sounds breathing in / out and sinus drainage. Mucous was clear. Urgent care prescribed prednisone packet with tapering over 5/6 days. Several days later back in my home state, went to Urgent Care again. Still lots of coughing / mucous production / clear x-ray. Prescribed 50mg burst prednisone over 5 days along with antibiotic. Called it aspiration pneumoniitus. Has now mostly cleared up - but now to weird question. After all the pred and antibiotic, I now have thrush. BUT, it is only one-sided. One half of my tongue, one half of throat, and only left side of nose. Why would a person only develop thrush on one side? Also... all of this has ramped up my afib a little.
