The Kissimmee Police Department has called a 2:00pm press conference to provide an update on "the progress of investigation" in the case of 13-year-old Madeline Soto.

I am listening to this after the fact. One thing I know is that parents need to stop bringing their love interests around their children. It is rare to find someone who will love your child as their own. Even if you end up married to them, keep your guard up when it comes to your kids.

If the mom was involved they would know based on the phone evidence , She rubs everyone the wrong way lieing for thar scumbag buy she could have turned a blind eye half the time she's in a phyc ward getting her meds regulated . Based on the dates of the crimes The mom wasn't there .
The cops matched up the background in photos of the SA with the photos they took of the residence during investigation. Chief of Police said something about 'all happened in the home,' or something to that effect. Jenn's dad Warren G. Soto owns the 4 bed/3 bath condo unit.
The extent of the mother's cooperation may be her lawyer saying 'she's in a mental health facility, she doesn't know anything about any of it.' That mother is as crazy as a sprayed roach and her "partner, step-dad" to the murdered child is gonna fry in FL sooner or later. I can't get that picture of the mother cuddling the monster out of my head.

I have a daughter , still daddy and I together and I’m always checking on my daughters private parts and then I ask God for forgiveness but being a SA victim as a kid myself I don’t trust easily and I’ve been like that my whole life and I just recovered those exact moments with details about a year ago after psychological therapies and I am a broken woman inside still trying to feel comfortable around others. It’s something that shouldn’t happen to any kid.
It's gross that JB inserts speculation of Jen Soto's victimhood and urges audience to show respect to her based on that speculation. There is NO evidence presented that Jen is a victim, nor has mental health issues. If she DOES have a mental health situation that prevented her from protecting her child from physical danger, she should not have had custody. There are thousands of children murdered each year by mom's boyfriend - we need to start looking at these moms BEFORE tragedy strikes.
As a mom who lost her only child, AND I (along with my 3 sisters) were sexually abused by my step father. Mom did not protect us stating he would never do that. I PRAY that she did not know and cover for him.

No matter what, Jennifer was the adult, Madeline was HER child!!
When I was a kid, it came out that a girl in my grade, and her younger sister, were being SA'd by their father. They told no one and seemed like perfectly normal, happy girls. I was friends with them both and my parents were friends with their parents, we went to church with them, and their dad coached my little league team. No one knew anything until the younger girl confessed the abuse to a school counselor when she was 10, her sister was 14. The only reason the younger girl confessed to the counselor was because she'd been brought to the counselor due to bleeding (figure it out) and was so young...the counselor thought she'd started her period and was trying to explain that to the girl and it eventually came out that she hadn't started her period, it was from abuse. The mother was devastated and brutally hurt by this discovery. She had zero idea anything was wrong in her house. None of us could believe this was true and a lot of my town did not believe it because of what they thought of the father and victim shamed the girls. This can happen. You don't always know a predator, especially if you're a vulnerable, naive type, and you can be taken advantage of in the worst ways without ever suspecting it.

My dad was also nosey and neither one of them knew. I was being abused for 3 years under their roof. Not everyone knows! That is flawed thinking. 1 in 9 children are being abused and you are telling me all those parents MUST know????!!!!

The investigators have to be extremely careful what they do and say, otherwise they could blow the case.

If so, she could have gone to the party. Reservationists at Disney Hotels are in a phone bank cause sometimes you can hear others in the background.

*** I think that it's taking longer for more information to be made public because of how much information they found in Stephan's phone 📱 which they are possibly trying to search for the other victims and their families to do a thorough investigation 🔎 and possibly more arrests will be made if he was selling those videos and photos or chatting with other ChoMo's.
They're not going to release everything that they're doing while they're still doing an investigation.
They may be waiting on the toxicology reports before they make charges for murder.
It's so heartbreaking 💔 that Madeline didn't have anyone to save her from that monster, and she wasn't safe in her own home.
A lot of people failed Madeline and Stephan's other victims by not reporting his behavior. His friends have said that he dated a 14 year old girl, and nobody reported him.
His parents have paid people for their silence after he was caught recording a woman without her consent. They paid to keep him from staying in jail whenever he was younger. Allegedly.
Parents/ adults pay more attention to who is around the children that are in your care.
*** Stop ✋️ letting people that you barely know be around your children. Don't be so desperate for a partner that you are willing to let them violate your child.
*** Install hidden cameras to spy on whoever is watching 👀 your child just to help ensure their safety.. Talk to your child and assure them that they need to tell you if someone is harming them no matter what their abuser tells them and take all actions to keep your child safe.
It was Jenn Soto's responsibility to keep Madeline safe.
*** She invited that demon 😈 into her home 🏡 and allowed him to be alone with her & he was violating poor, innocent,sweet, precious, little Madeline since she was 8 years old and maybe younger.
Look at the photo 📸 of Stephan holding Madeline on his shoulders while they're in the swimming pool, and Jenn is standing next to them.
You can see how Madeline is not trying to put her hands on him at all. That speaks volumes because anyone would be trying to hang on.
I hope that everyone involved with violating Madeline and other children will be arrested and kept behind bars,so nobody else can be harmed by them.
It's so tragic 😥 that Madeline had to be murdered to be free of the torture ,humiliation,pain, and suffering that Stephan caused Madeline.
No punishment by law will ever be close to the pain,humiliation, fear, and suffering that Stephan caused Madeline.

As a mom - your connection with your daughter's or son's is normally strong. As a parent I would be able to sense whenever anything was bothering my children ~ it's a mother's natural instinct to feel when something just isn't right. How on earth did this mom not know her child was being raped weekly by this pervert? 😳 the mom just had to have known something was off? This is beyond disgusting. Beyond horrific. The mom could have prevented it by not having a adult man sleeping under the same roof as your vulnerable daughter. So sad

Late comment here - but the mom said on her interview that there was video surveillance of Madeline at the drop off and then walking to school. There was not. Was she lying?? She’s not being truthful, imo.

I want to thank you, JB, for cautioning those who were so fast to condemn Maddie's mother for "letting" this happen to her. None of us know what her mother knew, or did not know, though I suspect she was very busy working to keep a roof over their heads and may have mistakenly trusted this monster around her child. That does not make her complicit, just human. Unfortunately, it happens a lot, and our children suffer because of it. Her mother is surely feeling the loss of her beautiful daughter, and in all candor, she's probably being harder on herself right now than any of us could ever be because Maddie is never coming home. My thoughts and prayers are with Maddie's mother and everyone who loved this sweet girl. Thank you for being a voice of reason in the middle of a lynch mob. You're our Atticus Finch, JB.
I’m not sure why you’d be baffled. This is how a strong investigation often plays out. The public wants more info and media pushes for it, so they hold a press conference to ensure the public that they are indeed moving forward. But this doesn’t mean that they’re going to tell the rest of us more. And they shouldn’t if they want to ensure that they look at every piece of evidence and also follow all other potential leads so that they have a solid case when it comes to prosecution.

The timeline of the monster being seen on video dumping the book bag and laptop, then he drove by the school and was seen on video; and eventually he came back to the condo unit with the murdered child in the car, seen on video, all happened between 7:30-8:30 am roughly. If Jenn Soto was at the condo, she was asleep and slept all day, doped up.

Media's expectations of Press conferences for information are always greater then what they learn because their primary job is keeping listners/viewers engaged by building the story....media is a 'business' first and they all want to get paid. Even hosts and media complaining their was no new news continues to build the story. It's all to feed the viewer.

I understand why they aren’t saying much they want to make sure everything is perfect so they can give this guy the death penalty which he deserves. He has the sixty charges now and the can top it off with capital murder charges. As for the autopsy I do think they have the results but just aren’t saying. This isn’t about us this is about getting justice for Maddie. So I have no problem waiting.
