I wish I could post a photo! Your banana tip worked!! I had lilies that were GREEN green; placed two ripe Bananas at the base of the vase, fed them well, put them with other blooming flowers(not lilies), and trimmed them twice the day I got them(yesterday) and once this morning, adding fresh food each time. Three are already opening!!

hi. if I buy lilies on a Monday, then follow your tips, will they open enough for a casket spray for Friday? I'd like to buy them earlier but cannot. I will be buying bright orange asiatic ones or other bright coloured ones. thanks

it depends on a lot of factors, if they are in season tho and all these tricks done, they should open fast enough for you
