Beautiful videos, I love that you show local culture not just tourist hang outs. You make traveling as an independent woman an exciting and inspiring prospect.
This video made me too happy . As a brazilian is always good to see that someone can experience and show to the world our true perspective even that there's a huge difference between the Brazilian states, but we also have a huge resemblance. We know we have many problems but we also know the problems do not go away if we keep complaining so we have to face them but we also have to live the life, to experience the good things we still have. Life is made of moments and if we do not enjoy it right now, tomorrow can be too late. Sometimes something for you is so simple to achieve but so hard for us to get that we learn to enjoy the little moments of joy and see the beauty in small things. Through the difficulties we face we learned life is not always about being black or white so let's try to do our best living our reality...there is no sadness that lasts forever or joy that never ends so keep going..keep living ..this is our philosophy of life, the proverb that defines our way of thinking and living .Best wishes from Brazil and be welcome always you wanna come to visit us. ( sorry about my english, it's not perfect but i think you can understand what i'm trying to say...)
Oh what that lady said actually made me tear up... As we say here, Brazil is not for begginers. Things aren't easy, but nobody ever said it was!! I love my people and my culture. I was watching trip videos and I ended up here, and WOW! Not only the video itself but the way it was filmed, so good, it amazed me!
Wayfarers Anytime!! 😉😉. As a matter fact I saw a quote, by Maya Angelou and it reminds me you. " You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead pursue the things you love doing and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off of you." You're so amazing at you did, that you have inspired me to do the same as well, to pursue things I love doing. I wanna look so good at something that people can't take their eyes of me too. Your happiness doing what you love is just contagious! Keep the great work! 😘😘
This is such a gorgeous perspective of Rio that I've never seen before. I'm really grateful for people like you who travel to places like Rio and Mexico City and tackle unfair stigmas that cities like these get while emphasizing their raw cultural beauty. These 7 minutes of footage alone was pretty eye-opening. Looking forward to seeing more episodes and hope you're having an amazing day!
Kylie Flavell I'm already subscribed to your channel and have watched them all already, Kylie! :) I love your videos, stories, and poems -- they're beautifully shot and so amazing! You have no idea how much you inspire me.
Kylie Congrats for your vision more complete about Rio. And your vision optmistic of life.Is visible in your work the colors of Rio de Janeiro. You divinely capture the small towns in a great metropolis. Kisses.
I adore you! You passion for travel is so inspiring. I'm so happy I found your videos. They are beautifully edited and real. You make me want to just leave everything and travel.
It is so refreshing to find your interest in the genuine life - your own path and the beauty that you see by living authentically, your true self. I love your thoughts on life and what motivates you. Thank you for your work- can't wait to see more of it!
Another fantastic video, I always love your perspective and upbeat personality! You inspire me to see how life truly is within other countries and how wonderfull it can be. Thank you so much for this series.
Kylie, I feel so happy with your video, I'm here from Brazil and almost every time that I hear someone talking about my country, someone that never came here, I see prejudice, I see exacly what your friend talked about: "the two extremes". And I feel honored to have someone like you here, seeing us for who we truly are, feeling our energy! I really have no words to express the feeling and the happiness that I feel. Thank you for this! I really appreciated! Tons of hugs :D
Oh my gosh Kylie you are amazing! Doing what you love and traveling the world by yourself is so uplifting to me. I want to travel so bad right now but I need to finish my studies. Whenever I watch your videos it wisks me away to another world and motivates me to achieve my dreams. Keep up the good work and be safe out there.
Great video Kylie! I love the way you show to the world a different side of Rio, avoiding stereotypes and trying to bring more soul. Brazil is a huge country and the people's customs are different depending on region that you are. Rio is totally different from cities of the South and the North. Next time you come to Brazil I invite you to go further and explore more about other cities and cultures inside this exotic country. You'll be surprised! Search for this cities in Brazil on google images, foreign tourists probably won't expect that these cities are in the same country, some of them can even snow a little bit in the winter: Sao Joaquim SC, Canelas RS, Monte Verde MG, Campos do Jordao SP, Lencois Maranhenses, Ouro Preto MG, Brasília DF, Belo Horizonte MG, Fernando de Noronha PE, Foz do Iguacu. Traveling around the world with no stereotypes! It's an amazing ideia! Thanks for share this video.
This video is so awesome. One of the few videos that actually portrays the real side of brasil. As an American, and studying abroad in Fortaleza for 6 months, every comparison and difference you made between the 2 cultures were spot on. I could relate to everything you said and that makes me feel good Becuase most americans/gringos will never be able to understand a great culture like this unless they experience it for themselves. Keep doin ya thang girl
I'm Brazilian and lived one year and half in Canada. I kinda know about the first world and everything... But this movie shows a lot of reality, including about what people like to say about favelas which is totally true. I got really emotional, and I will try to improve myself to help others as I always have been doing. Thanks for showing your view.
I just saw one of yours videos but I ever loved it , you showed a way of Brazil thats too hard to show to the world , congratulations :) You should come to São Paulo too , it would be amazing !!
This video was so good and truthfull. as a brazilian sometimes i feel pretty sad about the vision some people have about our country, mostly because they only saw one side about and then gneralize; but seeing it this way as you portrait without hiding anything and showing all the goods and bads was so nice and unique from the rest that i saw. Keep the good work! btw you won a new viewer, i'm lookin forward to your future videos! :D
So cool Kylie, I love your videos, I´m learning english and your videos help me a lot with this, also your videos cooking.thank you for that and keep going! Obrigado amiga!
I really enjoy your videos! They are very well-done and inspiring. I would love to know more about the programs you use to edit and your camera equipment. I would love to follow your steps, I've had the urge to travel blogging like you are. Keep it up!
I can't understand how it's even possible to like to live in this country. I'm brazilian and I haven't left yet. But I just can't stand here. It sucks, the people sucks, the country sucks and I can't wait to get out of this pile of dump. But I actually liked your video a lot, it's a beautiful footage and great interviews. But I just can't understand how can people even like it here. Everyone here doesn't care about you at all, they only think about themselves. And we are not smiling all the time. :)
Each county has it's pros and cons and not everyone feels comfortable in every country i dislike living the the US but i'm sure you's love to which places with em a lot of people think they woudl like the US and i'm sure most woudl but this country is not for everyone
LKBeatbox Well then you will never understand why foreign born people like your country and some even prefer it over the western nations they came from.
Sinto vergonha em saber que sou conhecido como um país das favelas , se eu fosse governador do rio derrubava tudo, e fazia casa descente pra esse povo, enquanto houver favelas , haverá miséria , pobreza , violência.
Is this a commercial for Brasil 2016? Girl go to the favelas to see the real Brazil and the people that doesn't have opportunities. So easy for tourists to see half Brazil, the pretty one.
thank for this positive vision of my contry!
What a nice video , with positive thoughts! great work !!!
+Humberto thanks! Really glad you're enjoying these.

ok. How can I move to brazil?
What area in Rio De Janeiro is this????
Very misleading. Everything can be amazing unless you're forced to live with it everyday.
