Toffoli’s wife has family in the Bay Area so that made the choice easy for him.

Eklund started producing when he got better line mates. If you watched the games before the, " Lund" line came to be you watched at least once a game where Eklund passed the puck to Kunin in a prime scoring spot and he did not even give off a shot.

    Hey Guys,
Thanks for the preview. I am a long time Sharks fan (since their first play off appearance against Detroit back in the day) and I am so pleased to see Mike Grier doing what the Sharks have never done which is to fully stock the cupboard and develop the talent yourself. I love the investment that Grier was able to get Haso Platner to go along with where a large influx of front office personnel have been added in both the scouting department AND the development department. So far the infusion of scouts has allowed the Sharks to make some intriguing picks who look like they might be NHLers at some level beyond the obvious high picks.
The only other thing I wanted to mention was the promotion of Coach Warsofsky to Head Coach. I like his story. The fact that he was not a super talented defensmen who topped out at the ECHL level and then started coaching there eventually becoming a head coach at the ECHL level and winning a championship there and as a head coach at the AHL level. Ton of respect for him.
That said, I think he is the likely sacrificial lamb. As an armchair Sharks fan what the hell do I know? hehe That said, in my opinion I think the Sharks are at least another 3 years from contending for a play off spot. What coach is going to withstand 3 more years of losing hockey or 500 hockey? I think its great that Coach Wars has his NHL Head Coaching debut and he was very emotional when he was announced. Love that but, I think he is going to get "Quinned."
I love Marco Sturm and I want him to be the Sharks Head Coach but, only when they are ready to contend. I think the Sharks owe Marco that after breaking his heart as a young man with the Sharks. Regardless of who the next head coach is I predict Coach Warsofsky is being set up to fail like Quinn was.
    Thanks again boys.

Steady improvements, building an identity/culture and being more competitive (no more blowouts, when they lose... Lose a close game)
