Oh my gosh, I love this oil so much! Just got finished teaching my live class tonight on the Serenity Sleep System kicking things off with the new Softgels and I think it helped me through! I was diffusing Adaptiv (my absolute favorite blend in the whole world) and practically drenching myself in it to be fully prepared for tonight but I also applied Blue Lotus under my eyes and took in the aroma. To me, it's a sweet floral scent, soft and beautiful...not overpowering sweet at all like some perfumes I've smelled in the past. Usually I use it on my face at night before bedtime and it actually makes me feel beautiful and think lovely thoughts as I go to sleep. I should try applying it over my heart and see what that does. It smells like very slight earthiness but mainly floral, almost like baby powder like and heavy and light same time. Hopefully that makes sense.

For me it has extremely mild smell. I cannot smell much of nothing, It is so mild that the smells around me and the FCO may be blocking the smell. I was thinking it is way too diluted, I have not smelled it at full strength so maybe it is just a real mild smell.
I love it I’m male and mostly use in diffuser by my bed at nite. But when I use it on my wrist at first it’s very lite and floral then changes to deeper tone almost cinnamony. When I first ordered. Company sent me a few capsules. I haven’t taken them. Kinda cautious. Is it safe?
Hi! I'm glad you are enjoying the blue lotus! The doterra essential oils that are recommended for internal use will have supplemental nutrition facts listed on the side of the bottles. Blue lotus does not have this info and isn't recommended for internal use. You can save the capsules for another oil that can be used internally. Look for the "I" symbol for internal use on doterra's website for other options .:)

Online it says aromatically and topically.
You dont want to ingest blue lotus. There are people that do but if they use any alcohol at all during extraction youd be tripping. Blue lotus is known for its hallucinogenic properties when smoked or ingested. Specifically if alcohol infused so i would say it is not advisable to ingest

The essential oil process takes out the psychotropic properties.
DoTerra dilutes theirs so much it's probably fine, but we aren't allowed to recommend internal use in the USA. It's illegal.
