I'm sorry, but I remember the Mummers Parade in the 60s and 70s. What I've seen is horrible. Where are the guys playing Banjos and wearing those huge wings. Oh, and I know everything is coed, but there were no women in the parade. Some of the men dressed up as women, which was comical OK, woman today, yes. The costumes are garish, I saw this kind of dancing on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. I can't watch this train wreck.
You’re so misinformed it’s unreal. There are tons of woman in the parade, in clubs, and strut every New Year’s Day. And the string bands that are playing in this video do a new theme every year, and they have modernized their suits. But there are plenty of the suits you’re talking about. Another hater in the parade. How about you go to it and meet some of us mummers before you criticize with your take from 60 years ago. Don’t watch it. We don’t need you too. By the way, this performance won first place so your opinion is irrelevant.
