Small little tip that could save you hours in the future, bind your grab key to f. Because it's on f you can press ff, and auto loot any chest or enemy and check out the loot later so that way you save a full second on every time you loot anything in game which with how much you have to loot in this game could save you actual hours of gameplay. Also with it bound to ff you can do it in combat it's that quick.
Finally a decent content creator that gives credit to person who shared this location first. It's bad enough everyone on YT is posting same shit over and over again. Well done buddy
it reciprocates imo. i do it so that the next time im the first others do the same. It's the right thing to do. too many creators out there with there own communities to not "copy" or share content ideas its just the nature of YT creation. that being said give credit where credit is due always.

there is 2 more chests ( one in the desert near the map end and another in a cave near a vulkan base) and they give a lot of legendary stuff, but that one is new for me :) now i have 3 chest to farm xD thanks for the video
Another possible spot that costs fewer resources to set up is the tall rock just west of the chest. I put my camp there and I just run off the edge, glide to the chest, loot, repeat. Seems just as fast and doesn't require bringing anything but a flame altar and a chest to put loot in.

Just in case it helps someone, you can make this even faster by exiting the game and pressing a quick succession of spacebar, A, spacebar and spacebar again. You can do it during the loading screen too, so it will save you a few seconds that will add up overtime. Happy farming!

it still works amazing i just used it again last night and was able to replace all my old legendaries with the updated version in less than an hour. legends still drop quite frequently from that chest. and its super fast
Thanks for the vid. Just a heads up but if you dont have the ghost glider you will need to run to that locale via the far south east sun temple and heading north west from there and pickaxing terrain as needed, granted that sun temple is where you get that glider.

This has been frustrating. My glider is the one below yours. I only get 1 updraft boost. Mana regenerates too slow. I can't make it by hoping on those "islands."
The problem is that many people, including me, have a problem with a very long exit from the game to the main menu, which sometimes takes up to several minutes or even takes forever to load. The save is probably to blame, as it loads quickly on a new character. So this restart method is not optimal.
Hey guys have you try Sapphire Strand area there are 2 gold, 3 silver and couple of regular chests. The last silver is locked need lockpick. I was getting common to legendary items.

I know of a few places to farm, unfortunately, this game very little itemization and after a while you have everything you need. They need to add more variety to make it more interesting.

I will add a tip for those like me that are still only level 19 or so, I took building mats with me and after I put down the alter, I made a small shack around it with a door right at the chest. Now the Birds that one shot kill me, won't be a problem. It's a little slower because of the door and all but I am safer and able to farm in an area that I otherwise might die at any time. :)
I wonder if there are differences in the loot table for this golden chest and the golden sarcophagus in the south-eastern sun temple. Is there a difference between chest and sarcophagus?

Any idea if the gold chest with the mushrooms/spores have a higher drop rate? This chest and the one in the far NE of the map (requires lockpick) seem to have wayyy higher drop rates. Just my observation so far. Appreciate the video!! subbing for sure. Keep up the great contentzzz!
You could be the pioneer that tests the two. Even if the others might have a slightly higher drop rate, my money is on this set up... until/ unless it's nerfed

I right click to cancel glide and then spam spacebar as mentioned above, to get back into glide. Spacebar again to Updraft. Then wait til mana returns. Mana up, right click, spacebar, spacebar, mana up... HWHeeeeeeeeeehhhh!!

ohhhh all i do is mid flight cancel the flight animation with right click, quickly look up and mash glide again that should wip out your glider again at which point u can use updraft and get more height. now as long as u have the mana regen u can do this as many times as u want and the height u get from updraft will be enough to get u pretty much anywhere on the map in 1 or 2 glides. just keep canceling and updrafting over and over again as many times as u want.@@dirkaltenkirch9289
Honestly devs gotta change the way random loot drop from the chests for legendary stuff. Better bury the chests into ground and make them behind puzzles and mobs to fight in small dungeons. That way players can play the game.
I mean… by the time I got to this point the game was over I have every quest done and every well and shroud root destroyed. All I wanted was better gear… how fast I get it didn’t rly matter cuz I’ve done everything else already. Pretty much just prepping for new content at this point lol. Now if people decide to farm it at lower levels earlier than intended then yeah there just spoiling the game for themselves imo. I took my time with everything first
1.) this trick only works on solo private servers, and 2.) make sure the alter boundary red line is outside the space of the chest. If the chest is inside that border line it won’t respawn
🎰🎮💼There's another chest under the red flag to your right that spawns (its buried in rubble) it dropped some epic items I haven't seen from the golden one. I only farmed that spot for about an hour though. I randomly found it while taking out a few scorpions that spawned there.

i believe this only works on private servers. that goes for any respawnable chest. i think they did reduce the cooldown timer though by quite a bit on other servers it just wont be anywhere near as fast unfortunately

It's on the center of the screen below the character while you're gliding. There's a button prompt for "Cancel". However with the default controls, the cancel button overlaps with the block button so if you have a weapon that is capable of blocking, canceling the flight will also make you block and fall for about a second before you can fly again. Using a staff briefly toggles you into its aim mode but it cancels a lot quicker than blocking. I'm not sure if your control scheme does the same
This trick only works on a local hosted server? I play on a friends private server hosted server and it's not refreshing after logging out. I put an alter down and went to my own local server and QQ I spawned at the beginning. I'm guessing this means I have to do all the work to advance to the other end of the map all over again on my own server now huh.
@@Glitchiz It wasn't that bad getting there on the local server I setup since knowing where it was now for the second time adventuring to get there. I'm just glad it's still working. It's pretty ridiculous!

sadly im guessing they have nerfed it i think , took me ages but found it put the the shrine not too close like your video , got a purple , logged out logged back in and got nothing unless im doing something wrong
i just did it yesterday it should work perfectly fine push back ur alter more. also this only work on solo private servers i believe if u on a special server u bought or are hosting yourself i dont think chest respawn glitches work at all. so that could also be a problem.

technically 1.... theres tricks to build up rly high and getting over to that location super early. i believe Mordarim on YT made a video on how to get over there in his best consumables farming video.
The fact that they patched out the updraft trick makes me so sad... Idk about yall, but I don't have the time to waste sprinting 2km dozens of times a session...

Set this up tonight and ran 25 cycles. Not one legendary, but split between common and epic. Mostly weapons too. Think the dev's have nurfed the quality.
Im a huge fan of the game already. But all these legendary farm videoes when people make a point out of having a grapple hook to save 1 second of sprint is just hilarious.

youd be surprised how fast the time goes though... after about 20 minutes once u see how many legendaries and awesome stuff ur getting u get addicted and wanna keep going... its worth it honestly. plus within that 1 hour u can get almost everything. so just take the hit put in the time and youll be set up for pretty much the entire rest of the game lol.@@Knasern
That just takes all the fun out of the game. So you just reset/loot there for 20 minutes and then get all the best gear in the game.... What else is there to do after that in the game except building a base?
Not much… so don’t spoil yourself. Play the game as normal like I did first and then use this spot only after you’ve completed all of the story to finish finding gear u didn’t have
this only works on private solo servers i believe, second make sure your red territory boundary is outside the perimeter of the chest, and lastly its possible it was patched a few other people said it stopped working for them as well. ill check my self later on tonight and confirm and update you.
just break the iron window thing in the temple with an iron pickaxe... jump in and open the chest ... then you don't even have to do the three tower parts XD
it does not. u can get legendary mirage which is a similar staff but the shroud reaver only drops from a specific chest along the cliffs outside of the bottom right sun temple. just search a video for it there's a bunch included my "outdated" mage build video i show off its location in that video as well and its a guaranteed drop every time.
potential update for mage build coming again for a third time lol, as well as a warrior build soon so stay tuned! :)

Just found this spot last night and it's amazing! Got 2 Helix and a ton of other legendary pieces within 20 minutes.
I love this. I can only play an hour a day max so this is perfect. I just wanted to unlocked everything so I can just focus on building.

I have been looking for a Blackened Staff farm myself.

There is a silver chest in a pile of rubble under a flag. So you could be getting 2 chests per log in/log out.

Nope the level drops based off the zone I believe so it should always drop at max lvl from that chest that’s why it’s so good lol

Ornate chests tend to have a wider range of potential drops.

Why not equip staff and have a dedicated button just for aim, that way you can block those attacks ?

Hold a build hammer in your hand. For some reason holding other items causes a cooldown before you can start gliding again.

All I wanted was better gear… how fast I get it didn’t rly matter cuz I’ve done everything else already. Pretty much just prepping for new content at this point lol. Now if people decide to farm it at lower levels earlier than intended then yeah there just spoiling the game for themselves imo. I took my time with everything first

so question did this get patched because i set flame altar there and no loot every time i load in
1.) this trick only works on solo private servers, and 2.) make sure the alter boundary red line is outside the space of the chest. If the chest is inside that border line it won’t respawn
is tghere a way to ahh transmog the sets like some of the end game sets to me are just ugly, i want a wizard hat etc ?

🎰🎮💼There's another chest under the red flag to your right that spawns (its buried in rubble) it dropped some epic items I haven't seen from the golden one. I only farmed that spot for about an hour though. I randomly found it while taking out a few scorpions that spawned there.

How does this work for people playing on a server with a couple friends? If everyone leaves the game, does the chest reset?
i believe this only works on private servers. that goes for any respawnable chest. i think they did reduce the cooldown timer though by quite a bit on other servers it just wont be anywhere near as fast unfortunately

yeah i played the game as normal first not to ruin the experience, and then only farmed legendaries after pretty much everything else was done. @@HeyJacobRS
Seems like this has been patched or is not available in Multiplayer Servers, cause i resetted 5 times and had no single item in it
edit, after I restarted the server on G Portal, I got extra loot in this chest
what were you doing to reset the glider? sorry im left handed all my keys have to be set up differently its not a jump what is it ?
It's on the center of the screen below the character while you're gliding. There's a button prompt for "Cancel". However with the default controls, the cancel button overlaps with the block button so if you have a weapon that is capable of blocking, canceling the flight will also make you block and fall for about a second before you can fly again. Using a staff briefly toggles you into its aim mode but it cancels a lot quicker than blocking. I'm not sure if your control scheme does the same
This trick only works on a local hosted server? I play on a friends private server hosted server and it's not refreshing after logging out. I put an alter down and went to my own local server and QQ I spawned at the beginning. I'm guessing this means I have to do all the work to advance to the other end of the map all over again on my own server now huh.
yeah any sort of chest respawn gimick only works on local solo type servers. private ones it doesn't seem to be instant. theres like a 30+ min delay
@@Glitchiz It wasn't that bad getting there on the local server I setup since knowing where it was now for the second time adventuring to get there. I'm just glad it's still working. It's pretty ridiculous!

yes, unless u got lucky and snagged the old lvl 35 Shroud weaver staff before they patched it.

sadly im guessing they have nerfed it i think , took me ages but found it put the the shrine not too close like your video , got a purple , logged out logged back in and got nothing

i just did it yesterday it should work perfectly fine push back ur alter more. also this only work on solo private servers i believe if u on a special server u bought or are hosting yourself i dont think chest respawn glitches work at all. so that could also be a problem.

technically 1.... theres tricks to build up rly high and getting over to that location super early. i believe Mordarim on YT made a video on how to get over there in his best consumables farming video.

i tried spamming the same location but only get all common armor only, not sure what's going on...
Set this up tonight and ran 25 cycles. Not one legendary, but split between common and epic. Mostly weapons too. Think the dev's have nurfed the quality.
I did another 1-hour run today, but none of the legendary armor dropped.
I’ve got a better location southwest of the tower you get the endgame glider it’s on the side of the cliff, no digging, just spawn kick it and repeat
Im a huge fan of the game already.
But all these legendary farm videoes when people make a point out of having a grapple hook to save 1 second of sprint is just hilarious.
grind the location for 1 hour straight... then you'll wish u had a grapple... over time it shaves off dozens and dozens of runs worth of time.

Atleast thats what i do so i dont get burned out of a game.
youd be surprised how fast the time goes though... after about 20 minutes once u see how many legendaries and awesome stuff ur getting u get addicted and wanna keep going... its worth it honestly. plus within that 1 hour u can get almost everything. so just take the hit put in the time and youll be set up for pretty much the entire rest of the game lol.@@Knasern

I found it by accident crossing the shroud to the sun temple loot
That just takes all the fun out of the game. So you just reset/loot there for 20 minutes and then get all the best gear in the game.... What else is there to do after that in the game except building a base?
Not much… so don’t spoil yourself. Play the game as normal like I did first and then use this spot only after you’ve completed all of the story to finish finding gear u didn’t have

this only works on private solo servers i believe, second make sure your red territory boundary is outside the perimeter of the chest, and lastly its possible it was patched a few other people said it stopped working for them as well. ill check my self later on tonight and confirm and update you.
just break the iron window thing in the temple with an iron pickaxe... jump in and open the chest ... then you don't even have to do the three tower parts XD

Can anyone confirm is shroud weaver drops here?
it does not. u can get legendary mirage which is a similar staff but the shroud reaver only drops from a specific chest along the cliffs outside of the bottom right sun temple. just search a video for it there's a bunch included my "outdated" mage build video i show off its location in that video as well and its a guaranteed drop every time.

no, i believe the ignited weapons only drop from sun temple chests.
when i do that on my nitrado server the quest is empty :(
it just works if i restart the server...which makes it way less effective
