A long long ago I was on patrol on Spadina Ave. I fell off my Toronto p.d. motorcycle and landed between the street car tracks. Out of nowhere came a little tailor- his arms full of suits. He was a wonderful Jewish man and he picked me up and attended to my hurts. Blessed are are those who call upon the NAME of the LORD.

The walk with Israel was an incredible event. Never saw such crowd of people through 40 years of attending this event. Everybody was polite, smiling, singing , dancing. It gave me hope that maybe, maybe things will normalise for us Jews of Canada. People were so thankful to police . Thank you Toronto, Hamilton, Durham region, Niagara region, York region ,OPP police services for keeping us safe. My question was exactly like yours, where is media, where politicians? Probably a pro palestine took the swastika to Ottawa durring the freedom convoy. Itwas not a freedom protesters thatcdid that. It should never have been exploited that way.😢
The most common explanation heard from those seen around the person with the swastika was that person intended it to mean that Trudeau was making this a nazi state.
I seen Viva Frei and War Campaign ask many people about it and this is the common response I heard from those who claim to have actually approached the person who has the swastika.
The person realized their mistake and put it away and protesters around didn't "bother him" after he had explained his reason.
I hear many people talk about the "instigator" possibility but that is from people who say they never seem the flag, only pics or heard about it.

Is there not anywhere that a person can email, write or something to try to get the goverment to start doing what they should already be doing, about the anti semitism happening here in our country, it is ludicrous that this is being allowed to go on. Maybe, with enough voices calling the out, something would happen.
I am 60 years old and everything I have complained about in my time growing old is coming to a head.
When I was young we in Canada were on a good path to stopping hate and discrimination.

Also important to note that most of the casualties seem to have come from the firefight that ensued AFTER the hostages had been rescued. Once they realized the IDF was there, hundreds of hamas fighters/locals began firing on them with rifles and RPGs in the packed city area of Nuseirat, and you will not see any itemizing from hamas that includes friendly fire. The bottom line is, if they wouldn't have started a massive firefight and just let the rescue team get out, there would have been very low casualties.
I have family and friends in the IDF and I know exactly how hard they are working to minimize casualties, even as hamas does all it can to increase them.
Didn't trudeau campaign on this in the mosques in 2014.
