"I'm president because that's what I named myself" ! You got my laughing out loud, alone! My weekend homework is to fix my personal LinkedIn profile, I had almost given up on LinkedIn, but thanks to you, I'll try again ;)
Definitely! I should credit one of my marketing colleagues, Ed Rainier, who's the one who said, "The point of networking is to meet people you don't already know." That always stuck with me.
Great video, Brooke with some very valuable tips. LinkedIn has become so much more complicated since it started and your tips are helping get a handle on being active on the platform again.
Love your videos! I've learned so much thanks to you Brook, huuge thanks! Btw, I have a question, how can students improve their LinkedIn profile, since we are no professionals and we do not have any services to provide? How should we write a catchy headline for example? Or how to make a cover story? I'd love to do it, but I really don't know what to say. Thanks in advance!
Hi Vera! I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos. Students can easily create a powerful LinkedIn profile. In fact, my one son created his while he was a senior in high school. Obviously he couldn't fill out all the sections, but he filled out what he could. A catchy headline is still important -- and it can share the value that the student can provide to an employer (assuming the student is looking for a part-time job during the school year or a full-time job during the summer). The cover story can then elaborate on the headline. I hope that helps!
Thanks for asking! I'm currently researching FB topics that will be good; there's a whole vetting process I follow in choosing topics. Next weeks' video will be LinkedIn-related (it's already been filmed), and hopefully I'll find a good topic re: Facebook that I can do after that. The key is finding a good FB topic that, from an analytics standpoint, shows enough audience demand to merit making a video about. 🙂
Hey everyone! What's been your experience on LinkedIn so far, and what are you goals with LinkedIn this year? I'd love to hear from you!
"Smashing the Like button" - loved that bit. Still chuckling 🤣
Awesome! Asking people to smash the like button is supposedly a good thing to do, but I feel soooo uncomfortable doing it!
@@DelawareShoutOut it's that you made it your own with humour that made me chuckle that got me 🤗

When will come the next video about Facebook?

@@DelawareShoutOut Thanks for the reply. I've always been curious about Facebook. Because Facebook is the most popular in Bangladesh.
