I don't know about the US, but in France the law does not allow this kind of invasion of privacy, even though it is in a public place. It's called "droit à l'image", and you would not be allowed to upload a video without the agreement of the person.
He's actually been filming a movie called American Assassin for like the last month or so, and there have been tons of pictures and videos of him since the accident. Still, after someone asks you to stop recording, you should stop. Yes, the First Amendment, blah, blah, blah, but it's still rude. You already had enough footage by then. It's almost like you enjoyed arguing with his dad. And yes, I did watch it, but it still made me mad when you approached him and didn't respect his dad's wishes.
All the 97 people who have liked this then you should be ashamed of yourselves ! this is DISGUSTING that man has no respect and just storms up to him and follows him and starts asking stupid question about his very PERSONAL accident..even after dylan and everyone said no ! Nobody sane just marches up to a person, shoves a camera in his faces and very bluntly and rudely starts asking questions ! what the hell is wrong with you ! Dylan shouldn't of said that "it's alright man" because it isn't. Shame on you ! have you ever heard of something called dignity ? probably not considering you don't have any.
I want to know he's okay as much as any of his fans do but this is just horrible. You could see his smile disappear when he saw that camera. Why would you keep pushing him like that?! He tried to get you to stop. His dad tried to get you to stop. They even tried to walk away! How many hints did you need?! Yeah he's a famous celebrity with many fans, but he still deserves the right to privacy! He is a human being! No one has the right to be in his personal business like that. You should've put the camera down the FIRST time(out of many) he told you too. What if you were in his shoes? How would you feel if you had just faced a near death experience and people ran up to you and your family with cameras and refused to put them up after you repeatedly asked them to? He deserves at least some privacy after how kind he is to everyone he meets. He deserves way better than this. Along with everyone else. This whole video just mortifies me. I would of thought that people would give him space after what happened. Wow.
This was extremely rude and disrespectful! Dylan maybe isn't ready to go out to the media yet Jesus, just leave him alone! The accident is probably still leaving him traumatized and not ready to tell everyone what happened. He knows that we all worry about him and I'm sure he really appreciates his fans' support but he's still recovering and needs his privacy with his family, paparazzi or not, he deserves some space away from the media after what happened to him!

tonyvera1902 His father told you to stop and you carried on filming. Dylan was clearly uncomfortable and i respect him for keeping calm. He threw his jumper onto his head to cover his face and his father tried to block the camera. You should have some shame for bugging him.
Omg Dylan is the nicest. Although he was mad at the dude recording him he still called him dude and talked to him in a really nice way. He’s so sweet. Love you Dylan❤️❤️❤️
Okay, Tony. I get it. You're paparazzi. You're right, you have the right to film under the 1st amendment. But can you for one second, put yourselves in his position. You literally just got off a 12-13 hour flight. You're exhausted from filming around the world. Then to have some asshole shove his camera into YOUR face. You wouldn't like it either. That's how he feels. You could be more sensitive towards him. Secondly, you could see how he did not want to be filmed.
tonyvera1902 no. His fans actually care about his feelings. His fans know that his privacy is one of the most important things to him as an actor. Fans world rather have him not be berated with questions with idiots like you. And your first question when you show up, "hey, is that Dylan O'Brien?" Fuck, you know it's him. You wouldn't be filming him if you thought it was a random stranger. And you didn't do it for the fans. You did it for the fame, the views. To be the first one to get video of him. Newsflash. There were already photos of him filming all around the world. So what did you need to get? For the fans, my fucking ass.
This is wrong!! Why so disrespectful!! Of course we've seen him several times before the accident! Filming from a certain distance is okay, but come up to him and start filming him in his face with these types of questions... no man you don't do this shit. His dad was telling you to stop. Didn't you see how mad he was?? And Dylan was too. And following him after he walks away?? No dude, you don't do this. We know how much Dylan doesn't like being invaded like that. Stop. Just stop. So much disrespect towards such a precious human being.
you keep bringing up the First Amendment, but no one in the GOVERNMENT is infringing on your right as "press" to distribute this. all people are saying is that you were incredibly rude and a general douchbag by not respecting the wishes of the person (via their family) and backing off.
i’m sry but this is honestly disgusting he obviously didn’t want you filming him but as always he was still polite you should have left him alone he has obviously been thought so much even his dad asked if u could leave sry just my opinion
What goes through your head to make you ask some innocent person about a extremely traumatic experience????? You have no permission to do this, Dylan o brien even was so nice about it
Ad pops up at the start of this video: 'Have you ever been in an accident at work that wasn't your fault?' REALLY RUclips?! This vid of all vids wtf? :O
he is literally ashamed of his face and u keep recording him? be glad his mom didn't call u out and his dad didn't punch you. if I were u I'd appreciate how he was still polite after what u did, he ever smiled at you.
Thank you for the footage, and with all respect I want to point out that if you would want to continue this job, I would recommend that you should treat the celebrity and their family members/ friends respectfully. If there is no privacy in public well at least leave when the father tells you to, its called respect now not privacy. It was alright when you filmed him from far, but going up to him and asking him questions when his father didn't approve was just embarrassing man. Next time you can film the celeb, but do not invade their space, it's not right.
Yes. Sticking a camera straight to their faces and asking invasive questions about the accident and major surgery he underwent is beyond disrespectful. How did he think Dylan was going to react? How did he think his dad was going to react? Dylan was going through PTSD for a good time after his accident. Just... you don't go up to a stranger (be they a celebrity or no) and ask shit like that.
I understand that this is your job, but sometimes it’s just better to walk away after they politely ask you to leave :( he seemed so uncomfortable and you can’t justify this by saying “ever heard of 1 amendment- freedom of speech”. It just common courtesy man
Paparazzi has been a fast dying "business" for the past 3 years now. No one likes this kind of shit and people are fed up with it. It'd be one thing if you were a fan and wanted to take a picture with him or just wanted to say hi, but you literally went up to him while he was with his family still recovering from surgery and purposely shouted his name loudly so everyone around you could swarm him. Then, you bombarded him with questions that he doesn't have to answer for you just bc you feel some sort of entitlement or something. You didn't even put down your camera when everyone asked you to stop filming. After all you did, he was still nice to you in the end and yet u still felt the need to post this video. What's wrong with you? Get a real job. Btw, the first amendment nowhere states that you have "no privacy in public." Also, how would you like it if someone was filming you from afar while you're just going about your day? It's creepy and it needs to stop, this all needs to stop.✋
Oh wow... Guys, anyone is living in LA? Have a spare camera? Let's turn their job against them self! As he said, no privacy in public, then we are allowed to film 'him' when he steps out of his house, when he goes to shop, when he goes to the gym, hospital, cemetery, holiday, or even goes to poop? Let's see how will he feel about it, when someone will push a camera into his face, asking dumb question and being a moron. How will he feel about his piece of garbage job. Trust me, majority of people would feel sick to the guts...
my job for oner 20 years i work by the law and my 1 amendment freedom of press iam a paparazzi and a news stringer thanks for looking at this video i did my job
Just because you can and its "legal" doesn't mean you should. And trust me all of his fans were worried about him but that's no excuse for disrespecting him.
This is so so messed up. I don’t care that this is your job because it’s a pathetic one. Being paid to make people uncomfortable and stalk people. Completely messed up,especially when you can obviously tell he doesn’t want to be filmed at that moment. You can say “well he signed up for it. It’s my job. Freedom of press.” Yes but also harassment is a thing. I don’t know why you guys think it’s ok to do this to human beings, honestly you try to justify yourselves but I know y’all still feel a sort of guilt. If not, that’s messed up. I feel so sorry for him,he’s so sweet and still being so kind for the situation that YOU put him in.
You should’ve just left him alone. He is a human being like the rest of us and he deserves his privacy. It’s one thing to film from afar, it’s another to go up to him. You should be ashamed of what you do. Leave people alone
This video is so disrespectful, you need to understand that just because people are on tv and have fans doesn’t give you the right to videotape them without permission.
this made me physically sick to my stomach like he was just trying to mind his businesses but you went up to bother him and u were asking abt something that was none of ur business and dylan was so polite abt it too like i feel so bad for celebrities they can’t just do anything without people recording or taking pictures or just bothering them
This is a whole other level of being disrespectful and arrogant. Yes, ofc we were all curious back then what was going on and how he was but that wasn't the way to find out. Watching from Afar COULD be fine MAYBE, but again to go up to him and still badger him after he and his family respectfully asked you to stop/go away is 1000% Wrong And disrespectful. Dylan is one of the kindest, loving, and wholesome actors and you could see the upsetment in his eyes. He is always so kind and fair with his fans but when he asks for privacy or to be left alone that is what we should do. I truly hope you have learned to treat celebrities with a little more respect. I believe we can all learn from this. Edit - I saw you say you do regret it and your working on becoming better at your job so thank you for that. Progress is good
why the he'll would you go bother dylan when he's having a conversation. You got your camera in his face without his permission I mean leave him alone damn. Not to menchin your embarrassing him.
You may try and defend yourself, saying that you want a job and you film stars for a living, but do you know what the word RESPECT actually means? I clicked on this by accident and stopped when you said "It's Dylan O'brien, I have to shoot him," I mean, really, Dylan is a human being, not a piece of property for your gluttonous eyes to spy on. He's a human being. Remember for the future because you aren't going to like it when somebody snaps at you.
his parents and other people repeatedly asked you not to film and you could clearly tell he was uncomfortable why would you keep recording. i am truly disgusted by you and this video
Bro you could tell he wasn’t comfortable you recoding him like yes U wanted to check on him but no if him and his dad doesn’t want u to its simple just stop. Some people need to start listening when celebrity’s doesn’t want to be recorded leave them alone.
Guys, it's his job and whether or not you think it's rude it doesn't matter. You idolize celebrities and fanboy/girl over people like Dylan whose work exposes him to excess media coverage which comes as a package deal with being a celebrity. You have a right to your opinions but it's not nice to give someone shit over their job because its only their job.
Leafy Elf Getting in someone’s face after a accident is not a job. Vs actually be worried and RESPECTFULLY trying to make sure he’s okay. Boundaries have to be set. No matter what career you have. (I realize it’s been a while since this was posted but I was scrolling)
Okay he obviously didn’t want to be filmed, they gave you enough signals to get away, but ofc the pap “HAVE TO do their job”. Invading people’s privacy and not respecting it is NOT your job. Grow up man. 😤

I don't know about the US, but in France the law does not allow this kind of invasion of privacy, even though it is in a public place. It's called "droit à l'image", and you would not be allowed to upload a video without the agreement of the person.
in the USA no privacy in public
tonyvera1902 It's still a jackass move, bro
complete invasion of privacy
no privacy in public
your so lucky that Dylan is a good guy and has RESPECT and didnt go off on you
He's actually been filming a movie called American Assassin for like the last month or so, and there have been tons of pictures and videos of him since the accident. Still, after someone asks you to stop recording, you should stop. Yes, the First Amendment, blah, blah, blah, but it's still rude. You already had enough footage by then. It's almost like you enjoyed arguing with his dad. And yes, I did watch it, but it still made me mad when you approached him and didn't respect his dad's wishes.
thanks for looking at this video
Laura Sandage thank you for stating this. Why the he'll do you Need to record him it's creepy.
you should have stopped that was rude af
All the 97 people who have liked this then you should be ashamed of yourselves ! this is DISGUSTING that man has no respect and just storms up to him and follows him and starts asking stupid question about his very PERSONAL accident..even after dylan and everyone said no ! Nobody sane just marches up to a person, shoves a camera in his faces and very bluntly and rudely starts asking questions ! what the hell is wrong with you ! Dylan shouldn't of said that "it's alright man" because it isn't. Shame on you ! have you ever heard of something called dignity ? probably not considering you don't have any.
thanks for looking at my video and not calling me names say what you have to say cool but when you call me names i just take it off fast
I don't care
tonyvera1902 How annoying can you be?
Teen Berry we'll he's trying to be nice to his fans especially infront of his dad. I can see how he got annoyed.
Lauren Washburn Very true
Wow.
The more you say "no privacy in public" more is a LIE. Stop with this and think with a human brain.
no privacy in public
+tonyvera1902 HAAHHAAHHA no words
This was extremely rude and disrespectful! Dylan maybe isn't ready to go out to the media yet Jesus, just leave him alone! The accident is probably still leaving him traumatized and not ready to tell everyone what happened. He knows that we all worry about him and I'm sure he really appreciates his fans' support but he's still recovering and needs his privacy with his family, paparazzi or not, he deserves some space away from the media after what happened to him!
I mean come on dude especially when you approach him like that, like there's no need, where's security when you need them?
Ever heard of privacy?
Ever heard of 1 amendment freedom of press no privacy in public
Ever heard of respect?
ever heard of listening to "no"?
+etheralia oh hey liz
daddy is home omg hi
No hate but if his dad says to stop just stop cause Dylan hates being filmed
Dylan was cool he gets it when we stop taking pic and video and that day come to all the stars its about TMZ.com: Celebrity Gossip | Entertainment News | Celebrity News
tonyvera1902 His father told you to stop and you carried on filming. Dylan was clearly uncomfortable and i respect him for keeping calm. He threw his jumper onto his head to cover his face and his father tried to block the camera. You should have some shame for bugging him.
that was so fucking disrespectful have some respect
Omg Dylan was such a sweetheart even though he clearly wanted you to piss off!
1:33 Dylan sounds so sad and the paparazzi sounds so happy and nonchalant about it
you should be ashamed. poor guy just went through so much and didnt need you harassing him. tops to dylan for being so kind and polite to you though🥺💓
Secondly, you could see how he did not want to be filmed.
its a job have to do it this way i did this video for the fans thanks Andrew Phan
tonyvera1902 no.
For the fans, my fucking ass.
thanks for looking at video
This is wrong!! Why so disrespectful!! Of course we've seen him several times before the accident! Filming from a certain distance is okay, but come up to him and start filming him in his face with these types of questions... no man you don't do this shit. His dad was telling you to stop. Didn't you see how mad he was?? And Dylan was too. And following him after he walks away?? No dude, you don't do this. We know how much Dylan doesn't like being invaded like that. Stop. Just stop. So much disrespect towards such a precious human being.
who are you my mom thanks for looking at video
you keep bringing up the First Amendment, but no one in the GOVERNMENT is infringing on your right as "press" to distribute this. all people are saying is that you were incredibly rude and a general douchbag by not respecting the wishes of the person (via their family) and backing off.
yes i do thats what igo by thanks for looking at my video
i’m sry but this is honestly disgusting he obviously didn’t want you filming him but as always he was still polite you should have left him alone he has obviously been thought so much even his dad asked if u could leave sry just my opinion
His the best
@@tonyvera1902 which is why he didn’t deserve that. and why you didn’t deserve the privileges of meeting such an amazing man like him.
What goes through your head to make you ask some innocent person about a extremely traumatic experience????? You have no permission to do this, Dylan o brien even was so nice about it
He was still polite ❤️ he's so cute
Ad pops up at the start of this video: 'Have you ever been in an accident at work that wasn't your fault?' REALLY RUclips?! This vid of all vids wtf? :O
This is so rude! I can't even watch it cause it makes me sad thinking how Dylan must have felt.
he is literally ashamed of his face and u keep recording him? be glad his mom didn't call u out and his dad didn't punch you. if I were u I'd appreciate how he was still polite after what u did, he ever smiled at you.
I absolutely love Dylan and I wouldn't even go over to him if he was near. It's just respect - he's a human 2.
Wow. This is so disrespectful towards him. Dylan didn’t want you to video him and you should respect him asking you to stop.
the guy recording really said i have to, like no you do NOT! leave him alone like
I was wrong and I am very sorry😞
I’m like so freaking late on this but leave him alone bro this is disgusting as hell
I understand that this is your job, but sometimes it’s just better to walk away after they politely ask you to leave :( he seemed so uncomfortable and you can’t justify this by saying “ever heard of 1 amendment- freedom of speech”. It just common courtesy man
we'll said 👏
I was wrong very sorry 😞
Dylan got so emotional. Not cool and you shouldn’t have filmed him
In the words of Scott McCall, “YOUR JOB SUCKS”
Well said
this is not what dylan deserves
give him some privacy please
. Oh my god.
It's creepy and it needs to stop, this all needs to stop.✋
thank for looking at this Paparazzi video
I'm using an ad-block hahaha :)
You made him really uncomfortable
You should have backed off he obviously didn't want to talk and his dad was telling you to back of what the hell have some respect.
Leave him alone man he wants privacy! Don't you get that?
thanks for looking at video you guys stop looking at my video i will stop
tonyvera1902 dumbass
poor dylan
Not cool at all.
I feel so sorry for him,he’s so sweet and still being so kind for the situation that YOU put him in.
this is so disrespectful, even is dad told you to stop filming, give him privacy.
You should’ve just left him alone. He is a human being like the rest of us and he deserves his privacy. It’s one thing to film from afar, it’s another to go up to him. You should be ashamed of what you do. Leave people alone
3 years later and this video still bothers me.
This video is so disrespectful, you need to understand that just because people are on tv and have fans doesn’t give you the right to videotape them without permission.
this made me physically sick to my stomach like he was just trying to mind his businesses but you went up to bother him and u were asking abt something that was none of ur business and dylan was so polite abt it too like i feel so bad for celebrities they can’t just do anything without people recording or taking pictures or just bothering them
Ugh. So disrespectful.
rude asf!! You could see how uncomfortable Dylan was. Even his dad told you to stop;have some respect. I advise you to find another job.
HOW DARE YOU
He was so relaxed before that happened
Not cool. Clearly told to stop.
Imagine knowing now that a famous actor doesn’t have respect for you smh
🦉
dylan was so nice about it. you should’ve left him alone after you took the hint.
I hate paparazzi
Progress is good
I doing this over 22 years this was bad so sorry 😞
why the he'll would you go bother dylan when he's having a conversation. You got your camera in his face without his permission I mean leave him alone damn. Not to menchin your embarrassing him.
He’s got the bike socks on and he’s chillin 😂. Man I still feel bad for him because I heard that he is still a bit hesitant when going on set.
he was literally showing like he cared more about him than his father !
THANK YOU
his parents and other people repeatedly asked you not to film and you could clearly tell he was uncomfortable why would you keep recording. i am truly disgusted by you and this video
Thats discusting! end of.
Bro you could tell he wasn’t comfortable you recoding him like yes U wanted to check on him but no if him and his dad doesn’t want u to its simple just stop. Some people need to start listening when celebrity’s doesn’t want to be recorded leave them alone.
This is actually wrong in so many ways yet it is so normalised, celebrities deserve more privacy.
Yh i see the point of boundaries and respect i just thought people were being a bit harsh towards the paparazzi guy.
Yooo u met Dylan O'Brien?!?!?! I know it wasn't the right thing to film him and invade his personal time, but I'm glad he's okay
This is just discussing! How could you do this to him?? Do you have no respect whatsoever??!!!
I was so wrong
@@tonyvera1902 cool that you can admit it, he has probably forgiven you by now. that’s just his awesome personality 😂
@@lizthaibo5030 it was bad 👎 papazzie bad job lots of times i got a tip did not know who he was someone told me about him never again
👎 not cool 👎
Cmon dude... maybe someone should teach you a lesson on “invasion of privacy” 😡
Okay he obviously didn’t want to be filmed, they gave you enough signals to get away, but ofc the pap “HAVE TO do their job”. Invading people’s privacy and not respecting it is NOT your job. Grow up man. 😤
