An actual good install video for this cable kit 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 solid bro, thank you The big 7 website instructions video is someone just showing off their new purchase. Barely goes through the install like you did. Have a happy new year 🤙🏾
FIY if you disconnect and lift the PDC box up there’s a perfect hiding spot for that fuse under there. That’s where I mounted mine. I also fabricated an L bracket out of a piece of square tubing to bolt to the two studs in the PDC box so the two lines going in and out are now vertically attached like the OEM bracket had them. That’s makes it a lot more convenient getting the battery in and out. Probably something JeepCables should include in the kit. I can shoot you some pics of what I did if you’re interested.
I swear... Those radiator supports come in CLUTCH lol. When i did my Hi Lines I did not want to drill holes all in the inners so i have my fuse/relay box and vacuum box zip tied to mine.. Like you said, not the cleanest but it works lol
You possibly switched your positive and negative terminals, the negative is a smaller post than the positive, the terminals are marked with "N" and "P"
I had to replace my battery about 2 weeks or so ago and I had the auto part store employee do it for me. I had a really bad experience with a car battery when I was a kid and to make a long story short I almost went blind from a car battery when I was about 4 or 5 I think so now I never mess with them. I was watching my brother test a battery with a hygrometer and acid sprayed into my eyes and I was I think about 6ft maybe less and it wasn't a lot of it cause my brother was able to quickly get me inside to rinse my eyes out with water and yes i did go to the doctor afterwards to have them checked and thankfully they were okay. So now I'm terrified of them and mind you this was back in the day I think before maintenance free batteries were a thing late 70's early 80's. Oh one more thing the battery that I had in my jeep lasted almost 12 years.
Why you are at it rip out the battery temperature sensor under the battery. Put a 14K resistor in its place. The sensor causes you to have too low of a charge rate on a hot day. (100 F)
Always love seeing our kits out in the wild! Great job on the install!
Thanks!
Man. Perfect time to release this video. I’m about to change mine as well. Your in tune with your subscribers Kyle 😂
hahah thanks Mike!

Who made the kit that you used? I'm redoing the starter in my 05, so it's a great time to do a upgrade!
Jeep Cables, the big 7 kit.
how do you like that m12 ratchet? is it the regular or the fuel and do you find yourself wishing for the extended reach versions?
It's the fuel. I love it. one of the best tools I bought. Save so much time. No this one is great
As always nice job. Thanks for sharing your efforts. Is that a pre-made kit, or something you assembled your self?
was a premade kit, but after redoing my own on my MJ I would make them myself its pretty fun to do

I wonder if this is something I should do on the JK…
I don't see why not

Why exactly would one do this?
