There was a significant controversy where Gal Gadot objected to a scene where the Flash fell on top of Wonder Woman in a suggestive way and refused to do the scene (among the many other controversies Whedon was known for on set especially his abusive behavior towards Ray Fischer). Resisting Josh Whedon's bullying, the scene was done with her stunt double.

Even if the Snyder Cut is slightly better than Joss Whedon's theatrical release, it will still be a Snyder movie, and it still can't measure up to what DC is properly trying to do with their superhero movies. And don't get me wrong, I don't hate Joss Whedon or Zack Snyder. I love both their work in the past pre-DC, such as Whedon's Buffy, Angel, Firefly/Serenity, The Avengers (2012); Snyder's 300, Watchmen, and Guardians of Ga'Hoole. But what either choice is trying to do with these DC team up movies is both an incoherent and rushed mess.

I agree it's a rushed mess. It's just a pattern of Hollywood rushing their movies. Just look at Fellowship of the Ring; that movie was a rushed mess because they didn't make solo movies for Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Boromir, Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Smeagol, Deagol and Tom Bombadil.
@@zhengyingli Except those characters were introduced in a book long *before* DC and Marvel were a thing, and besides, they did touch upon their back stories in the Hobbit trilogy films. Well, I mean, they had Gandalf, Gollum, Legolas, they showed Frodo once, we saw Gimli's picture in Gloin's locket, and Legolas was told by Thranduil where to find Aragorn in the future.

Martin took for his series of books which lead to 4 and a half great seasons and a steep downward decline of ratings due to studios making up the rest of the show because Martin couldn't write the books in time for HBO, resulting in a face down flop of a finale that ruined the image of one it's popular main characters. I mean, there's playing with expectations, and then there's train derailment.

God...if there is ONE Critic review that I want a reaction to....It's Mamma Mia...For one main concern....He listed all the lazy chick flick cliches in that film, but at the same breath YOU could compare the BS that is Mamma Mia to all of those "Woke" films with female leads....I'm not kidding...the more you think about it, they are like lazily made chick flicks because they had no respect for anyone's intelligence because of the "Worst" Chick Flick cliche..."Be funny....BUT NOT REALLY"...Because Hollywood thinks that women, or in this case, ANY "woke" person can't handle it because their brains are as underdeveloped as toddlers, so Hollywood will treat them like toddlers
Regardless of how The Snyder Cut turns out, it'll still be nice to see Snyder's original vision. And hopefully better than Josstice League...

With what's going on with WB Discovery, and where their priorities are with their properties, both releasing and shelving, I wouldn't hold my breath. They canceled the Batgirl and any hope for a Michael Keaton Batman Beyond show for another young Superman origin story, so my hopes lie with Phoenix's Joker and Pattinson's Batman.
I just watched Justice League and I can't wait for The Znyder Cut of Justice league to be released

I’ve seen CW flash. Flash there has a lot of heart but the JL flash is just played for laughs and not with well written jokes. More like with dorky , awkward nerd jokes
The Cinemassacre/James part was the funniest bit of the episode, let's be real here.
This reminds me I need to catch up on Arrowverse. A much somewhat better live action DC cinematic extended universe even if its only a television production.
The Arrowverse has been doing good for itself.
- Arrow had a really good final season.
- Flash hasn’t reached the same heights as the first seasons, but last season was a good improvement.
- Supergirl is still decent & is entering its final season.
- Legends of Tomorrow is still incredibly entertaining.
- Batwoman’s second season is going pretty good even with its recasting.
- Black Lightning is also still very entertaining.
- Stargirl was one of the best recent properties so far.
Also, I highly recommend you watch the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. It has a lot of crazy cameos in it.
@@Phanthief95 yeah I've started with flash a few years ago but never made pass the second season. Arrow I finished the first season a few weeks ago and about to start season 2. I also need to at some point watch the show constantine since that show is also apart of Arrowverse since from what I heard Matt ryan has reprised the role in legends of tomorrow and most of the other shows mentioned on here. Wish they put the show on Netflix or HBOMAX instead of sweeping it under the rug.
@@nickdorenkamp959 I say to the both of you watch the Arrowverse shows. I watch them all the time & they are pretty entertaining with heartfelt moments, tearful moments, developed main characters, likable charecters with dept etc. among other things. Is it perfect? No, but is is better than the DCEU? Absolutely. My only complaint with them is that if could shorten their episodes to better tell the main story. Still the Arrowverse the shared live-action DC universe that was just a dream that Berlanti had is more better than the DCEU.
What helps is that the person behind the Arrowverse Greg Berlanti (the Feige DC film needs) is a big DC comics fan & he is the main producer on all the CW shows with 2 shows on HBOmax. In fact he is so good at his job that HBOmax is making him the main producer on Green lantern corps show , Strange adventures in addition to the shows already on the platform. Walter hamada respects him to the point, he asked him [Berlanti] to come & try to fix the DCEU.
@@kazinadbiralamadit6905 he may not just need berlenti but also might need the team behind the DCAU (the first DC cinematic universe even though it's Animated) since that is almost on par with Arrowverse. That and also the DCAU have done Zack Snyder better than Zack Snyder.

My dream of a live-action shared DC universe always has Berlanti as head producer, Paul dini as Head Co-writer on all projects with Berlanti's co-producers & developers (both on the CW & HBOmax) working on various projects that while different from each other in tone & themes still has an impact on the larger universe. Also apparently Berlanti offered multiple times to help Snyder with the DCEU , but him & the former DCEU producers laughed him off.

I agree with you Nate on Snyder deserves his chance to see his vision through. However, seeing that it’s 4 hours and you know at most this film would’ve originally been 3, I think it’s all become a bit blown out of proportion. True, a lot may be new footage, but I feel like this will be a case where they added more for the sake of adding more, not necessarily actually making it better,

It's weird how they don't want to make money, despite that being the whole reason they were rushing. Instead of selling tickets to go and see 6 good movies to each person, they crammed 6 movies worth of story in to each movie, thus only being able to sell 1 ticket to each person. How does that make any sense?
(Obviously not counting the people who went to see the movie multiple times.)
They've been doing just in reverse. Aquaman and Wonder Woman did well in their individual movies after appearing in BvS and Justice League, respectively.

Say what you will about Aquaman, Birds of Prey and Wonder Woman 1984, but I would absolutely watch those films over Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad and Justice League any day.

Honestly i think the DC Movie universe was a failure to launch when they Put the most of First real films under one Director's vision.
I liked Man of steel it has it's problems but it did leave room for improvement. But nope Snyder wanted Batman & Wonder woman for the sequel. It would have been more interesting to see Superman saving people & developing his moral code than see him fight Batman, make friends with him immediately & then defeat Doomsday with Wonder woman (all of which can be explored in a crossover movie better).

Joss Whedon is much more better at making Marvel movies than DC movies.
Joss also had creative control from the very beginning and developed Avengers from the ground up. On that note he was brought on late into production of Justice League and had a limited time frame to finish the film. Very different circumstances for both films.

@@solonightwing3485 The biggest problem is that it was ok. It *could* have been better (Look up Nando V Movies take on the film for a better version), but I enjoyed ot for what it was. That being said, I think I was just along for the ride. So many of the suits weren't designed to be seen in color. The favorite was when Superman...finally got to act like *Superman.* We are people so opposed to that?

Robin had interesting arcs, Raven, Beast Boy, Starfire, but Cyborg was always like a token comic relief.....
