Nice 👍 just catching up with your holiday vids having got back from 2 weeks sailing in Greece. You seem to have had a great weather window from start to finish ( well to this episode at least lol). Wife and I also took advantage of a suggestion you made last year… We parked up at Deganwy beach today and walked all the way round The Great Orme.

Hi Tony, I hope the weather was kind to you both on your walk.
Was well blessed with the weather, we could of stayed sailing another week if we pushed it but we returned with the changing fronts. Couldn’t of asked for better. Regards mike

Thanks for that, I’ve just panned the camera around and you will be able to see your boat on one of the videos to come. Oh it really was the best of crossings. We normally get the lumpy seas, never ending over falls and way more wind than the forecast. Not this time, we were actually advised not to go as it can be poor at Carnsore point in F5-6 but we trusted windy and went. Water was so flat all the way and a spring tide with 15 knots constant was just perfect. So glad we went. We left a friend behind Geoff of Aslan who crossed the next day and had to motor across 🤣
Cheers 🍻 just opened a cold one mike

@@sailingcosiloveit excellent! Forecasts seem to have been a bit mixed needing more motor than we'd like, but we've also had some cracking sails. Here 3 nights cos it's nice, but heading to Scotland. Will do Beaumaris on way back...

Last summer, on an impulse, we drove 900km to Cherbourg and took the ferry to Dublin! Both on the outbound and return trip, it was just as calm! Also saw some dolphins 🙂
I checked some of the harbors on the South Irish coast, which made me really hope I can sail there some day!
I really enjoy your pilot book style and detail, thanks a million!

Really just lovely. This is what coastal cruising is all about. We think your boat is just the right size. The galley up is handy, but a bit hard on the wife's bum, I should think.
